This cozy, family friendly cabin is located near the edge of the forest in the quiet community of Munds Park and is available to rent year-round. The cabin will sleep up to 6 adults and 3 children. Enjoy the fresh air and tall pine trees on the newly built wrap-around deck and gazebo. There is golfing, tennis, a park with a playground, and basketball courts less than a mile away from the cabin. Cook out on the gas grill or check out the Lone Pine Restaurant (bar and grill) for Karaoke and a Fish Fry on most summer weekends. You can also dine out at Pinewoody's (pizza) just down the road from the cabin. Flagstaff is just 18 miles away and you can be in Oak Creek/Sedona in under 40 minutes. In the winter you can hit the slopes at Snowbowl in under 45 minutes. A trailhead in the Coconino National Forest is within walking distance. The forest can also be accessed and enjoyed on a mountain bike or ATV.

We are members of the Pinewood Country Club and as our guests for a nominal fee you'll have full access to the club's outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, dining room and bar, and tennis courts. The family room is equipped with a 32 inch HD LCD TV, DirecTV HD programming and a DVD player. The cabin is kid friendly, including a baby gate on the stairs and foam protectors along the fireplace hearth. There are two booster seats and a pack-n-play available. For the adults we have board games, including Sequence, Scrabble, Taboo and Uno.

Guest room #2 is set up for kids with a small play kitchen and other toys. There is also a TV and DVD player in this room. Munds Park is 90 miles north of downtown Phoenix and is an ideal vacation retreat.

Other Activities: cross country skiing, snowmobiling, downhill/alpine skiing, basketball court, snowboarding, wildlife viewing
