Large home sleeps 10 people - 4 Bedrooms, 3 baths and 3 living areas

Large newly renovated home on Green Lake - a 2000 acre all sports lake located 15 minutes from downtown Traverse City. Entry to our home is through the large 3 season room - the largest room in the house which will easily seat 15-20 people. The upper level of the house also contains the kitchen, dining area, 2nd living area, master bedroom with bath, 2nd bedroom with bath, and laundry room. The downstairs includes 2 bedrooms, 1 large new bathroom, 3rd living area with a new queen sleeper sofa, and a gameroom with a foosball table, The large private backyard is ideal for entertaining and relaxing. Beach is deep sand, 75 feet long with Adirondack chairs for the adults and the kids. Gas and Charcoal Grills, Zip Line for the kids and a hammock for Dad in the shade of the trees. Private 120 foot dock. Fire Pit with bench seating. Canoe provided for exploring the lake and our 21 foot - 12 person pontoon boat can be rented for a discounted rate.

We really enjoyed our stay and the house was more then what we expected. The lake is wonderfully clean and we really enjoyed taking the pontoon boat out daily. We only had one small problem and the owner acknowledged it and handled it without question. I would certainly rent this home again!

This home was beautiful. Everything looks/is brand new and has every amentity you could ask for. My kids loved the zipline, tire swing and huge beach area. We loved the fire pit, boat and privacy. The large family room easily fit my family of 10- with room for everyone. The kitchen has every appliance you would need, and the front loader washer/dryer was great! We would definitely rent this home again. Beautiful!

This is a great place to stay for a family that is large and needs their space. I was amazed at how much room we all had and how great the sun room was for everyone as we could shut the door to the rest of the house and watch TV or just play games. The pontoon is a must if you go and great on gas! My family enjoyed boating around the lake and fishing for blue gills. The house has everything and anything you need! Just bring yourself and your clothes! This area is very quiet and on a dead end street that allows beautiful and peaceful walks at anytime....the neighbors are very friendly too! My family and I will have a hard time topping this home. Parrish Family .

Were to begin? This was our first trip to Michigan and it was better than we could have ever expected. The Collin's home on Green Lake was just perfect. The rental came with everything you could possibly need and room to spare. Don't forget to rent the pontoon boat - you'll be sorry if you don't. The area and lake was peaceful and laid back - no need to rush if your don't want. There is so much to see and do in and around Traverse City - we highly recommend the area for a vacation and the Collin's home is the prefect home base for the trip of a life time.

Great house/wonderful lake

My husband and I brought my parents (I am 50, my husband is 58, my mother is 74 and my step dad is 90). We LOVED everything. The house is comfortable and well appointed. The lake is so close and the ground is so even, no one had any trouble getting to it. We had nightly drinks around the fire pit and used the boat every day.

We are coming again for 2 weeks in September of 2013. Highly recommend!

A great place for a family vacation

We had the pleasure of staying here recently, and really couldn’t have been happier. The house had plenty of room for all of us (4 adults, 3 kids under the age of four) and we never felt cramped. The home was clean and had everything that we needed for our week stay.

The beach area was fantastic, and we spent many hours there relaxing, playing in the water, and fishing from the dock. We rented the pontoon boat for the week and had a great time cruising the lake and doing some fishing. Every night ended with a bonfire and some stargazing/smore-making.

The area is absolutely beautiful and you’re a short drive from a number of fun activities. Overall, we had a great time and are happy to recommend the house to anyone looking for a beautiful home away from home.

Red House on Green Lake was perfect!

We felt right at home at the Red House on Green Lake and the owner went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for us. The property is exactly as described and the photos are all accurate. It was clean and well-maintained and we would recommend this property to friends and family members. It is a great property for larger groups of 8-10 people and has attractions that appeal to all age groups. The neighbors were all very friendly and the area was very safe. It is located about 4 miles from the Interlochen Arts Academy which made it easy to get to and from campus during the Festival and Graduation week activities for our daughters. It is just a little bit further to gas, groceries, and good restaurants. Our only regret was that the weather was cool and rainy and we didn't get to take advantage of the pontoon boat in order to explore the beautiful lake further. But, we did enjoy using the canoe during breaks in the weather. We feel truly blessed to have been able to use such a wonderful family cabin!

A GREAT HOUSE ON A GREAT LAKE, THE GRANDKIDS HAD A WONDERFULL TIME ON THE BEACH, IN THE WATER AND FISHING OFF THE DOCK AND BOAT. PLENTY OF ROOM FOR ALL WITH FOUR BEDROOMS. THE PONTOON BOAT MADE FISHING SAFE AND EASY FOR THE KIDS. WE HAD A GREAT TIME.

Spacious, comfortable and clean!

We had a wonderful week at the Red house on Green Lake. We especially loved the screened-in porch and relaxing in the adirondack chairs on the sandy beach. The kids spent HOURS fishing right off the dock. The beds were comfortable and the house was very well furnished. We also loved being so close to Interlochen and Traverse City. What a great vacation place.
