Not all ski-in/ski-out houses are created equal; this is one of the BEST SKI-IN/SKI-OUT houses at Whistler Blackcomb. We are located directly on the Yellow Brick Road run on Blackcomb Mountain. Go a mere 20 paces from the garage, clip on your skis, head to the bottom of Blackcomb, and board Blackcomb’s high-speed lifts, all without ever removing your skis. If you want to experience Whistler Mountain, no problem. A short trip up Blackcomb’s Wizard Express allows you to ski to the base of Whistler and its lifts and gondolas.
Better yet, experience the new Peak-2-Peak gondola which connects the two mountains from their peaks. You can access every run on Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains directly from your front door. After a fun-filled day on the slopes, when your legs are tired, ski directly to your garage door. For the younger set, Whistler Kids ski school is located at the bottom of Blackcomb and – again – you can ski straight there. No need to walk in ski boots or carry your little one’s skis!
As if the location itself were not enough, this spacious 2400 square foot, 4-bedroom 4-bath luxury house located in prestigious Pinnacle Ridge is superb. It is framed by the majestic mountains. The main level of the home showcases awesome 180 degree views from the 2-story floor-to-ceiling living and sunroom windows. The kitchen (equipped with all new stainless appliances in 2012), den/office with sleeper sofa, and a full-bath with steam shower are also on this middle level. The master bedroom and bath (with whirlpool tub and separate shower), plus the second bedroom and another full bath, all with vaulted ceilings, fill the home’s upper level. The lower level features the entrance foyer, two bedrooms, a full-bath, a separate laundry room with plenty of storage, and access to your private garage. The house is tastefully decorated and features many original paintings by Canadian artists. After a day on the mountain, relax by the gas river-rock fireplace.
Whistler is not just for winter. Summertime activities include hiking (several mountain lifts, including the Peak-2-Peak gondola, are open in the summer for alpine hiking/sightseeing), biking on the (relatively) flat valley trails or in the Whistler mountain bike park, whitewater rafting, world-class golf, zip-trek lines, ATVs, horseback riding, glacier skiing, shopping, spectacular spas, and outdoor cafes and restaurants for every taste and budget. This home is a 5 minute hike down Blackcomb Mountain into Whistler’s Upper Village, where you will find the kids’ Adventure Zone of mini golf, rock climbing walls, a summer toboggan run, bungee trampolines, kiddie camps, and much more!. Another easy 5 minute walk will take you into Whistler Village and its many activities, but you can then return to your peaceful sleeping spot away from the late noise of the village. A more fun-filled family vacation spot could not be found!
Our local representatives will escort you to the home at the time of check-in, and be available in the unlikely event that issues arise during your stay. Concierge service before and during your stay can be arranged. All linens and towels are provided and the home well equipped for your comfort.
No smoking and no pets. Families or couples only, please (we do not rent to singles with groups of 5 or more). We have a peaceful neighborhood, so no large 'party groups' accepted.
30% of rental rate is taken on credit card at time of booking, and the balance is due 45 days in advance of occupancy for winter season (90 days in advance for Christmas/New Years, and 30 days in advance for summer season).
