My interior decorator wife and I completely remodeled this classic plantation home when we lived on Kauai full time. Everything is new, including the remodeled Kitchen with marble counters and backsplash, new appliances, French doors from every room to private Lanais. Jacuzzi tub in the main bathroom. Modern washer and dryer. Outdoor Gourmet BBQ near kitchen pass-through window. Dine at our round stone covered table under a private pergola as you enjoy the 2,000 coconut trees of the Coco Palms resort - the site of Elvis' wedding in Blue Hawaii. Private, fenced yards. Relax in the Jacuzzi with a view of our lush tropical landscaping. The home is next to the Holo Holo Ku Heaiau - the birthplace of the Kings and Queens of Kauai. Our neighbor owns the Water ski and Kayak business on the wailua river - 3 homes away - where you can walk to the neighborhood dock. With our central location, you can see the entire island in a week, or just relax like a local. Aloha!

The Pineapple House is a completely remodeled and modernized 3 Bedroom plantation home near the banks of the Sacred Wailua River (Water Ski, Kayak to Sacred Falls) and Wailua Bay Beach to watch the Kite surfers, play vollyball, or just relax. A short walk to some of the best restaurants on the island. A very short drive to 1) Lydgate park beach with breakwaters for safe snorkeling and a 2nd breakwater for the Keiki (little children), 2) Wailua Golf Course - the #1 rated municipal golf course in the US, 3) Opeaka Falls 4) Authentic Hawaiian Village on the shores of the Wailua River. Centrally located on the East side for day trips to Waimea Canyon, Poipu, Hanelee, Princeville. Our favorite activities when we lived here full time were the: Blue Dolphin boat tours of the NaPali Coast Helicopter ride over the Island Zip line through the rain forest ATV tours on the private ranch where Jurasic Park was filmed jump off a waterfall or the rope swing- Kipu falls
