Beautiful townhouse...perfect location!

We stayed here in October 2009 and had a great time! This is a wonderful new townhouse in a great location. Very quiet, clean and modern. Nice and bright with lots of windows. The beautiful kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances was well stocked with all the necessities. Living/dining room is open to kitchen and has a gas fireplace, flat screen TV, free wireless internet. There's a hot tub and small table/chairs on the deck.

The two bedrooms upstairs have TVs, comfortable beds (king and queen), plenty of pillows and extra blankets, lots of closet/dresser space. There's a daybed with trundle in the upstairs loft that would be perfect for kids. Each bedroom has a private bath (granite counters) with a second sink just outside the bathroom door. We had plenty of extra towels, tissue etc. and appreciated the little extras like nightlights in the baths. There's another full bath with shower downstairs.

We like to travel light and avoid checking bags, so it was really nice to have a washer and dryer. We did a small load each morning while getting ready and eating breakfast. The attached garage was great- no searching for a parking space. It would be really helpful for loading and unloading lots of luggage, ski equipment etc. It's extra long with plenty of room for a large SUV (Dodge Durango).

The townhouse backs up to the Swaner Nature Preserve with a walking path just outside the door. Beautiful views over the open space to the mountains- we even watched a hot air balloon lift off one morning! A short walk to upscale shops, grocery stores, restaurants (Maxwell's was very good), even a movie theater. We forgot the battery charger for the camera and just walked to Best Buy for a new one. There's a free shuttle bus to Park City and ski resorts (5 min to Canyons, 10 min to Park City/Deer Valley).

Dave (the owner) was wonderful to work with- very quick response to emails. He even helped us find a fly fishing guide. Check in/check out was easy at Newpark Hotel's 24/7 front desk. We felt like locals coming home every night, and can't wait to go back! I would highly recommend this place if you want a great home away from home in a fantastic location.

Newpark condo

We had a great time during this year ski trip. The condo was very nicely decorated, clean and conveniently located in Newpark, within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the movie theatre. We liked to admire the preserve and mountains from the hot tub after a day of skiing. We like to ski at different resorts, including Alta and Snowbird, so this condo was close to the highway. It is only 5 min away from Canyons and 8 min from Park City. We highly recommend it.

PERFECT Townhouse for Utah Ski Vacation

We have been vacationing & skiing in Utah for many years. For the last 7-8 years we have chosen to stay in the Kimball Junction area and have stayed at a number of different rentals but this one is truly at the top of our list! The townhouse is accurately described online & the pictures truly represent the furnishings. A new kitchen stove top and new large capacity washer & dryer are wonderful. Having a private hot tub on your deck is so-o-o nice after a long day of skiing, as well as a beautiful view of the nature preserve out of every window. The wifi worked well and there was no issue with outside/street noise. Upon arrival, the townhouse was extremely clean and well-kept. The absolute best thing about this rental is the owner, Dave. His attention to his renters and to the details of his rental is unparalleled. Dave's prompt reply to all emails begins when you first contact him regarding a rental, during the booking process, and throughout the entire rental period. Whenever we contacted him we got a reply very quickly (often times within minutes) and never had to wait hours or days like you sometimes do with other owners. Dave also has a property manager locally in Utah (a true management company - not a friend who just helps out) who we needed to call and who was incredibly helpful and wonderful to deal with. Upon arrival we contacted this property manager about a problem at about 5pm and she had someone at the townhouse working on the problem by 8pm that same evening! That is incredible service! The property manager and Dave were in touch with us until the problem was solved. The attention was greatly appreciated!! Anyone who travels knows that problems can arise and machines can break but how the owner responds to those issues can make or break a vacation. Dave did an awesome job and it was a delight to deal with him. We loved staying in this townhouse and it is so convenient for us. It is 30 minutes from the SLC airport and close to lots of great skiing (Deer Valley, Park City, The Canyons, Alta, Snowbird, & Brighton). The Redstone shopping area (adjacent to the townhouses) has everything you could want or need on vacation. In conclusion, the Newpark Townhouses are our favorite place to stay when coming to the Park City area and THIS townhouse has to be one of the best we have ever rented! We would highly recommend this rental. We are coming back in March & have reservations to stay here again....I guess that speaks for itself!!

Very Special Place

I rent two or three places each year and this has to be at the top of all the places I have rented. First, cleanliness: The condo was spotless when we arrived. We had a small problem with a slow drain which did not affect our stay, but when I reported it, just as a courtesy, the person insisted in sending someone over to repair it. The furnishings and supplies are superior and more plentiful than other rentals I have stayed in. The beds are very comfortable. Good closet and storage space are available. One thing we particularly liked was the twin vanities in each bathroom serving the 2 bedrooms. The third full bath downstairs is very convenient. The location is excellent with anything you want within walking distance. There is an all use trail immediately behind he unit and you can use that trail and get to the heart of the village in less than 5 minutes. A variety of restaurants, shops, a movie theater, a grocery store (2), a rec center, fitness studios and other venues are within walking distance. Old town Park City is very short drive or bus ride away. Salt lake City and the airport are each less than 1/2 hour away. The unit is well located to take the drive to Mirror Lake (not to be missed) and other great sightseeing spots. I really can't say enough good things about this unit. If I am ever in the area again I hope I will be lucky enough to find this unit available. P. S. Breakfast at Good Thymes Bistro is excellent and a 3 or 4 minute walk. Directly across the street from Good Thymes is a bakery that also has breakfast items.

Everything promised and more.

Wonderful location. We stayed there 4 nights, and everything we needed was either in Newpark or within 5 miles. The unit was clean and spacious, and the kitchen was fully loaded with everything we could possibly need. There's a trail right behind the unit, but foot traffic was minimal at night when we wanted to use the hot tub which had a beautiful view of the wildlife preserve less than 30' away. The instructions we received were accurate, the appliances were all new, and everything functioned properly. The owner, Dave, was in contact with us before and on arrival to make sure we were settled in and all our needs were met.

Great experience, and we will definitely stay here again.
