Enjoy the sound of the waves from your master bedroom or smell the salt air from the screened porch and sundeck. With direct beach access only feet away, Folly is your oyster, and this vacation hideaway is your pearl. This house is conveniently located near the very best the island has to offer. Jackson's Pearl is perfect for a couple's getaway, small family of four, or fishing buddies. You'll find this location to be very relaxing. Also, the house is located just 1.5 miles from 'Downtown' Folly Beach for shopping and great restaurants, 2 miles from the Folly River boat landing and .5 mile from the 'Washout'. Renovated as of March 2009, there is an efficiency appartment downstairs. With the same amenities, this charming space is perfect for a couple or very small family. We are just now beginning to take reservations for what we affectionately call the 'Mini Pearl'.

For outdoor enthusiasts, locals know this stretch of beach offers one of the best breaks on the east coast for surfing and fishing. With ample boat parking, boaters can enjoy the Folly River. A 1.5 mile bike ride to the Morris Island Light House is a good way to start the day. Owners of The Pearl are locals, so please don't hesitate to ask about some other island gems (including surf fishing spots, river fishing holes, surfing breaks, golf courses, restaurants, shopping locales, etc.)

This house has been in the Jackson family for 35+ years. It has recently been updated to accommodate new visitors. Exterior has been refreshed, new cabinets and tile were put in the kitchen, and bathroom was completely remodeled. The interior of this classic beach house is mostly natural tongue and groove wood that gives it an extremely unique look. The rest of the inside has been freshly painted and newly furnished with comfort in mind. Additionally, this cozy cottage has an ocean view from almost every room in the house. The house sits on a double lot that is not entirely fenced. Please inquire about bringing your family pet. Thank you for considering The Pearl on the Edge of America.
