Pleasant Wisdom sits snugly on Pleasant Street, one of Camden's quaint tree-lined side streets. Truly an in-town retreat with private gardens and a courtyard bounded by evergreens; guests may never suspect the village is just a five-minute walk away, complete with shops, restaurants, cultural events, and the beautiful waterfront and windjammers the town is famous for. Built in 1832, Pleasant Wisdom has been completely renovated within the last year by local master craftsman Gregory Moore. Preserving the historical detail of the house was paramount and yet modern luxury conveniences, necessities, and luxuries were cleverly incorporated. Pleasant Wisdom truly embraces the old and the new. As comfortable for 2 as it is for 8, Pleasant Wisdom is an exceedingly gracious, well-appointed, year-round retreat.
