This contemporary chalet is located in the sought after 'West Hill' area which is located on Okemo mountain near the ski tunnel on the Sachem ski trail . This house has the privacy of a home but the 'Amenities of a Resort' where you enjoy the large multi-level decks with new outdoor hot tub overlooking a scenic stream and woods. Then you can enjoy the sauna for those that really want to over indulge or soothe the muscles after skiing.The house has 5 bedrooms and has the bonus of being a two family home which means two kitchens, two great rooms, two fireplaces and three separate floors of living space. House was recently renovated including new furniture and decorated tastefully. The 'Great Room' has a soaring 23 foot cathedral ceiling and the main fireplace. Brand new 6 person Hot Tub overlooks a stream and woods. Biking, hiking and snow shoeing and sledding start from the house. Golf, the lakes, ice skating, kayaking, canoeing and shopping are all nearby.

Start skiing from the Snowbridge ski tunnel and ski directly to the Northstar hi-speed quad to avoid any lift lines at the base of the mountain. Sledding, snowshoeing,hiking and biking all start from your front door. This West Village home has everything you would want without the crowds of the Okemo condos. Hot tub and decks have views of the stream and hundreds of acres of pristine woods located behind the house.

Notes: Home has been owned by the same owner for twenty years and has been recently updated and is kept immaculate. House is located in one of the premier areas of OKEMO in 'West Village' which is located adjacent the Sachem Ski Trail. Advantageous of the home include; three floors of living space, two kitchens, two dining rooms, two fireplaces, a bunk room for the kids. Two separate great room /living rooms with separate entertainment systems will allow the kids to be completly separated from the adults. Entertainment systems include a 50' plasma and also a 40 ' plasma tv with surround sound systems. Main great room has a wall of windows with a 23 foot high ceiling and a fireplace. A wood burning stove is located in the second living room. This house is one of the few that are walking distance to the slopes with both a hot tub and a sauna; the privacy of a house but the amenities of a resort.

This property is one of two rental houses owned on Okemo mountain by myself; not a rental company. Some of the features of these two ski properties is convenience to the slopes, large hot tubs, immaculate interiors with new furnishings. Additional amenities in my Okemo Ski homes include multiple fireplaces, pool table, foos ball table, large plasma screens with surround sound, fully equipped kitchens and everything else you would want in a Okemo ski house. Both houses are on Okemo mountain and are truly the best Okemo ski house value versus other mountain rentals. I have rented my properties for 20 years and my philosophy has always been: 1-location near the slopes, 2-good furnishings that are kept immaculate and 3- priced below market rates. This has brought back about 70 % of the renters for a second or third time which reduces my headaches and makes the experience more pleasant and satisfying for all. Think Snow !!!! Mike

Brought new family members back to this property for extended fall weekend. Walking up to the house my sister-in-law actually said, "I hear water, how close are we to the stream?!" I pointed her around the corner of wrap around upper deck - she approved of the view of stream below and fall foliage and was impressed with steps to deck for outdoor hot tub. Weekend only got better from there with great weather for those who liked the deck, outdoor tub and sounds of nature, and those who preferred the airy living room with all windows for view to deck but could still watch football games.

Owner gave us plenty of recommendations for nearby hikes, restaurants, etc but we ended up mostly BBQing and not wandering too far.

I've stayed in the house twice, once in the winter and once in the fall. Fantastic location and the house was wonderful.
