The Landings 2 bedroom condo on Lake Charlevoix

We spent the last week before school started at this well appointed condo with a spectacular view of Lake Charlevoix. It was amazing to look out on the lake and see so many sailboats in the mornings. We have used VRBO several times before and were pleased with the accuracy of the information provided regarding this property. It really came with everything you could need (TP, soap, trash bags, spices, etc). We've stayed places before where we had to provide all that and more, so it was a welcomed treat. The beds were soft and comfortable with extra blankets available. The water pressure was quite good and the tap water tasted great (We've had bad sulfur experiences before, but not here). We all liked the pool area and the kids made friends to play with. The older ones loved jumping off the pier. We enjoyed walking into town to the Farmer's Market (You have to try Gerber's pasites-they were awesome!), fishing off the piers and at the rivers, looking for Petoskey stones at the State Park, and of course some excellent meals. Red Mesa was outstanding, my husband loved the Cabo Wabo margarita. We also loved the tiramisu belgian waffles at Cafe Sante. All in all we loved our stay, the only downside (and not because of the condo at all) was the boat slip. It was a tight squeeze and added a bit of stress to the trip, but we figured out a system and it worked. Thanks much to the owners for offering up such a nice place with so many extras.
