Immediate lakefront access (private dock in the summer/early fall, lakeside deck in the fall), large master-suite with spectacular lake view, walk-in cedar closet and adjoining master bathroom, 2 spacious guest rooms, open kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, large deck with barbecue and picnic table, lakeview balcony off dining area, washer/dryer, dishwasher, dvd player, cable and wi-fi access, rainy day games, in-house dvd & book library. High ceilings, exposed beams, beautiful stone fireplace (plenty of firewood available). Enjoy access to Candlewood Isle's clubhouse (only a pleasant 10 minute walk) with beach, large children's playground on the waterfront and tennis courts. Close to multiple hiking trails at beautiful Squantz Pond National Park, antiquing in nearby Gaylordsville, shopping and restaurants in the quaint towns of New Milford, Kent, New Preston and Sherman. 6 women rented this house for my sister's 60th birthday celebration. the house is incredible, the views unbelievable and the owners of the house have made it a wonderfully warm and inviting home away from home!
we are all planning on coming back with the rest of our family as soon as we can come up with an excuse for a holiday. (or just a free weekend)!
