LUXURY BEACHFRONT CONDO

I rented this unit from the owner for a one week vacation with my husband, infant son and mother in August. It was amazing! The unit is beautiful and it looks exactly like the pictures on the web. Being an attorney who has vacationed all over the world staying at nice hotels and/or using travel agents (and with a husband who worked in the hotel industry in NYC), I was a bit nervous to rent on homeaway/vrbo. I am pleased to say that I was not disappointed and feel like I discovered the best kept secret to planning a wonderful beach vacation in the U.S. that is affordable, fun and relaxing.

This unit is truly a home at the beach with all the kitchen essentials you need to keep some groceries at home. You can save some money by eating breakfast or lunch in the comfortable kitchen/unit - way better than staying in a hotel. Technology is completely accessible for those who need to check in with work – high speed wireless in the room, a spacious desk and a business center in the lobby. There is even a washer/dryer in the unit so you can pack light. If you feel like complete down time, three flat screen tv’s in each of the rooms are great for movie watching and the balcony overlooking the coast is a great place to enjoy a book, glass of wine or coffee and some rest.

From D.C. the flight was quick and cheap, the trip from the airport was fast and we were never bored with an amazing assortment of local restaurants and bars, entertainment, a grocery store right down the street and best of all a beautiful, clean and exciting resort, beach and pools -- with a hot tub too!

The staff was super friendly and always available to provide anything we needed. We were even able to coordinate the delivery of a high chair and toys for my son directly to the unit from a local company that the owner can refer you to. The owner provided us with wonderful ideas for things to do and she is so friendly and familiar with the town that we were completely at ease asking about popular locations or things to do while we were vacationing. Within a short drive you can get to City Place with tons of shopping and restaurants, Clematis Street with a host of great restaurants and an adorable light show at night or surrounding beach towns like Jupiter than boast one of the most authentic tiki bars I have ever been too at Guanabanas.

If it tells you anything, I am already looking at my calendar hoping to go back this year!!
