This comfortable property sleeps 12 in beds and up to 14 with use of a sofa bed. It is best suited for one or two families, and probably not comfortably suitable for any other groups. The house is easily accessed one block off of Squaw Valley Road, midway up the Valley and equidistant between the Village at Squaw Valley and the Resort at Squaw Creek (less than a mile on the road from each).
Entry is conveniently on the street level with immediate vista views south through the great room (living, dining, kitchen) covering KT-22, Olympic Lady and Snow King. The master bedroom, off the great room, also enjoys these same vistas. The southern exposure offers abundant year round sunshine and the wood stove adds a nice ambiance in winter. A powder room off the foyer and master bath off the master bedroom, along with the master bedroom, great room and kitchen complete the upper level.
The deck, accessible from both the great room and the master bedroom, has an inviting 6 person hot tub for use day or night to relax and enjoy the same spectacular views of the mountains and the stars available from most of the house. There is also a gas grill on the deck for year round use. In summer there is deck furniture and meals can also be enjoyed on the deck over the unique large yard.
The lower level of the house has a large media room (with a sleeper sofa and a small desk) and two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds) which all enjoy the same sunshine and views of the mountains. There is also a large bathroom and a laundry room on this lower level.
The guest quarters, which were recently added with a complete redecorating to accommodate our growing family, has a separate entrance adjoining the main entrance, another well appointed living area, a full bath (split into separate rooms, one with sink/shower and one with sink/toilet), and two bedrooms (one with two sets of twin bunk beds and one with a queen bed).
There is off street parking in the driveway available for up to three cars, depending on snow conditions. There is a ski locker outside the main entrance for boot and ski storage.
The house offers convenient access to the Squaw Valley Ski Resort, less than a mile by car, and it is one block off the shuttle route. The bike trail that leads to the Resort and Lake Tahoe is one block away. The Truckee River is less than a mile away. The location is excellent for year round activities and the house is clean and comfortable.
The house has a fully applianced kitchen with complete cooking implements and spices for cooking and entertaining.
We have not allowed animals or smoking in our house. We would appreciate it if our guests would please follow this same practice.

We bought our house in 1992 as our central place for family entertainment, fun and relaxation. We originally bought the house for access to the Squaw Valley ski area, but the central location of the house offers easy access for restaurants and just about any sport in the area. The southern exposure of the house offers great vistas and abundant sunshine. The fully equipped kitchen and great room also offer an excellent venue for entertaining guests. As our family has matured and grown over the years the house has been expanded and redecorated in order to continue to provide comfort for our family. We are retired professionals and with some of our children living in the area in their own homes we feel we can now offer our home for the enjoyment of others.
