Located in beautiful, always-sunny, always warm Huatulco, in the state of Oaxaca, far down the pacific coast of Mexico (about 8 hrs south-east of Acapulco), this 2-bed, 2 bath (sleeps 6) ocean-view, beach-front condo is part of a 6-unit villa in Aarrocito, an exclusive 'residential', only a 4-minute walk down the hill to its own lovely beach, and located only 5 minutes from anywhere: downtown, fabulous restaurants and bars, an 18-hole golf course, and variety of other beaches to choose from. Formerly operated as an apartment-hotel, 'villas pacifico sur' has only 6 units, so lots of tranquility, quiet, and privacy. Breathtaking ocean view fm living rooms, terraces, and bedrooms. High quality fixtures and a kitchenette make this destination a luxurious but well-priced getaway in paradise - an eco-tourism area where the tour operators actually guarantee weather! Two ocean-view restaurants within a block walk, and taxi rides to anywhere else for 30 - 50 pesos (approx $3 - $5).

Huatulco boasts one of the most extraordinary landscapes in Mexico! Unspoiled beaches, tropical forests, white sand and eternal sun convince you this is truly Paradise! Avg ann'l temp of 28C (83F) and 330 days of sunshine. With the Sierra Madre behind, the mountains cascade into the Pacific, creating 9 incredible tranquil, sheltered bays carved out of its rugged coastline, and many of the 36 beaches of the area are still undeveloped and boat-access-only. The region has been designated a national wildlife preserve and has great ecological importance in Mexico. With abundant marine life and coral reefs, it is great for scuba, snorkel, boating, & whale-watching. There are great surfing beaches under an hr away. A $3-$4 taxi takes you to a lovely 18-hole golf club, 2 marinas to hire a boat for deep-sea fishing or visiting a secluded beach, or downtown w excellent restaurants for every taste and budget, lively bars w live music, a beautiful Zocalo, 4-plex cinema and great shopping.

Notes: No smoking allowed inside the suite. Responsible tidy smoking ok on terrace/balcony or at poolside - in other words, use an ashtray and clean up after please. One other condo owner (there are only 6 units in the villa) has a gentle quiet dog, but no other animals are allowed. WIFI available at Palapa outdoor dining area but at times signal is strong enough for access within the suite. Although this suite is the lowest available in our half of the villa, there are still stairs to negotiate, as everything in Huatulco is built up the hillsides. The pool is shared among occupants of 6 condos, but as it is so few people, of whom not all are in full-time residence , and there are so many wonderful beaches in the area as well as lots of other things to do in Huatulco, you'll often find you have total privacy and exclusive use of the pool area.

What a wonder place to spend time. Watching the sun come up in the morning over the Pacific Ocean is a sight to behold. The Villas face to the South and East. They are somewhat remove from any bus lines but there are many taxis that pass by because of the beach near by. Of course the pool is hard to beat. We had a great time and would do it again.
