My husband and I spent 5 days at this house for our one year wedding anniversary. It couldn't have been more sublime. Every detail of this house is perfect; the decor is stunning, the appliances are top of the line, the towels, the dinnerware, it was all lavish and was exactly what we needed to spoil ourselves. My one gripe about rental properties is that the owners often replace the comforts of home with low grade objects to withstand a constant stream of renters. That is NOT the case here; I felt as though I was staying in the home of a family member or good friend where beautiful ceramic bowls and priceless antiques were trusted to me for safe keeping.
The owner, George is a lovely, honest man and is knowledgeable about the town's history. Ridgefield itself is enchanting...it's a small village, but lacks nothing you might need to relax or spoil yourself. Rest assured, I hope to come back here again and again.
