Welcome to our island paradise. This recently renovated and elegantly upgraded beach cottage is located in the quiet and serene area of Oleander Gardens just north of Gregory Town. Perched on a hill only steps from a peaceful cove, Bella Mare offers the ultimate in modern conveniences and some of the most beautiful scenery of the Bahamas. Take time out of your stressful lives and relax on our front porch. Enjoy the spectacular view of the Caribbean ocean and your worries will surely fade away. A private beach is only 150 feet away so take time out to enjoy the sun and discover the wildlife while snorkeling in the cove.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rate includes tax, cleaning and kayak/bicycle rentals.
  • We will accept payment via check or credit card through paypal. If you choose paypal we will charge an additional 4% for the paypal fee.
  • A 50% deposit is required to hold all reservations.

    The final payment along with a $250.00 refundable security/damage deposit will be due 60 days before arrival.
    The security deposit will be refunded within 30 days of your stay at Bella Mare. Loss of deposit results from damage or misuse of the house, its contents, and associated amenities (i.e. kayaks, bicycles, etc.).

    Cancellation Policy

    Full refunds will be issued with written notice given 60 days prior to arrival.

    1/2 Refunds will be issued for written notice given 30 days prior to arrrival.

    No refunds will be issued if cancellation is within 30 days of arrival unless Bella Mare can be re-rented for reserved days.

This island is truly a paradise away from it all. You are far removed from the glitz and glamor of the casino's of Nassau and the hustle and bustle of the big city. Take your time and enjoy sleeping in, snorkeling in the cove or enjoy the sunset from the porch.

The Island.: Eleuthera offers 220 miles of coastline with countless sandy coves and isolated beaches with pure white and pink sands. The snorkeling and fishing are some of the best in the Bahamas. Bonefish can be caught by wading out in front of our house. Swimming and sunbathing are especially enjoyable activities due to the privacy of the many beaches. You can go to the beach and never spot another human being.

The Cottage.: The cottage has been lovingly upgraded and decorated by the owners. It features custom made furniture covers, cushions, and window treatments.
