Everything is provided for you except the groceries! Built in 2008, this two-story modern townhouse offers 1,150 sq. ft. and accommodates up to four persons. Short, medium and long term rental available with minimum stay of three nights.

Excellent central location within walking distance from Old Town, downtown Albuquerque and convention venues, and with easy access to I-40 and I-25. Neighborhood restaurants outside your door.

We are new to Homeaway.com and this rental represented our first foray into this internet site. We worked hard at making the right choice among so many appealing offerings. We simply could not have done better than Sandia Mountain Condo! What you see is exactly what you get.........only better. This place is amazing. Absolutely spotlessly clean, fully furnished, environmentally friendly, beautifully decorated, bright, cheerful, and secure. The owners, Bill and Joseph, have taken a condo, lavished it the love and an eye to detail, and made it a home. The patio is a real joy and a relaxing place for a wake-up cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at sunset. Downstairs is compact, but oh so comfortable. As far as media is concerned Bill and Joseph have got you covered. (Be sure to listen to FM 95.5 for soothing music any time of the day or night.) The two bedrooms are upstairs at the top of a short set of stairs, complete with a well-secured metal railing which was greatly appreciated. The bedrooms, especially the master, is more than roomy and has a huge walk-in closet. Area rugs help make the pine flooring attractive. Lighting is no problem and the beds are more comfortable than the ones we use at home. The entire condo is as environmentally friendly as one could make it. Sandia Mountain Condo is relatively new, thus everything was in working order and well maintained. If you needed anything, the owners were only a phone call away. They have thoughtfully provided their guests with a three-ring binder full of maps, information, flyers, suggestions, and advice regarding shopping, touring, and restaurants (sample menus even!). Now, as to location, the condo could not be better situated. You are within a three block walk to Old Town and the many museums, a fabulous bakery is right out your font door and
in New Mexican food is only a half block away. Bike rentals, a splendid grocery store, 7-Eleven and more are all within walking distance. Back to the bakery. Their products, all made on site, are amazing, most especially the pizza. The green chile bread, multi-grain bread are fabulous. So are their sweets, especially the empanadas and the best biscochitos in the State of New Mexico. If you want to travel by car, the interstates are only blocks away with easy access. One of the Best Ever!

I travel with my job, and almost always find my housing throught VRBO. I just stayed in this condo for 5 weeks,and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The place was perfect. I can only think of one other place I ever stayed that was close to being as nice...and I do believe this place is #1. And I must add that I was in town through the Ballon Fiesta, and they owner's did not raise the rent
The condo is in a great area, close to Old Town and lot's of great restaraunts. The bakery across the street is indeed habit forming (great Pizza's). But if you want to cook at the condo it has everything you need. And a good grocery store just down the street.
The condo is decorated perfectly, from the stained concrete floor downstairs to the beautiful wood floors upstairs. Every room is showroom perfect. Joseph and Bill have set the bar real high. One thing for sure, if I ever come back to Albuquerque, my trip will be planned around the availability of this condo.

Perfect Place to Stay!

While traveling for an academic conference/mini-vacation, we spent 3 nights here and I truly can't say enough great things about our stay - the condo housed 3 adults very comfortably. The owners were wonderful: they were pleasant, flexible, communicative, patient with our questions, and very knowledgeable about the area. They truly thought of everything, from a fully stocked kitchen to the informational book for guest tips, and even an umbrella in the closet. The condo is beautiful: very comfortable, nicely decorated, modern, environmentally-friendly, and spacious. The location was the best bonus of all: only 15 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes from Downtown, and a pleasant 10-15 minute walk from OldTown with shopping, restaurants, and a large public park along the way. The Golden Crown bakery directly across the street is a MUST! We went there daily, often more than once a day: empanadas & coffee for breakfast, snacks, and pizza for dinner. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer!

An absolute MUST!

My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful condo for a month. The description of this vacation home and the photographs on the website are completely accurate - it wowed us as soon as we walked in the door. It was immediately obvious that the owners care a great deal about the comfort and cleanliness of each room, and their decorating ideas make you stop and say..."why didn't I think of that back home."
The stay felt more like home than any other vacation rental we've had, and we've had many. The bed was actually more comfortable than our own - there wasn't one single night of restless sleep.

We've already texted, spoken, and written to many friends and family members saying they must visit New Mexico and stay at the Sandia Mountain Condo...but we must be careful - we don't want them taking our vacation spot if we need it!!!! Thank you Bill and Joseph - hope to see you again soon.

Having read previous comments all we can write is ditto, ditto, ditto. Accommodations - fantastic. Cleanliness - five star. Comfort - more comfortable bed than home . . . really!
The only thing missed (other than family members) was an outdoor grill.
Never pass up the bakery over the road - pizza the best. Green chile bread as tasty as the pizza.
This condo is truly a home away from home. Love it. We'll return ASAP. Many thanks - we're glad we found you.
