Within 6-8 blocks you can find good BBQ (6 blocks), a Deli, (6 blocks) Italian (7 blocks), Mexican (6 blocks either way), Chinese (7 blocks), and even a seafood steakhouse restaurant (8 blocks).
Windmill Coffee Spot, Deli-Licious Cafe (5 blocks), and best of all, the Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor! Rent sailboats or kayaks, ride the Harbor shuttle, enjoy a glass of wine at the Crow's Nest. A perfect summer vacation!

Note to Beach Vacation renters: Don’t be fooled by rentals that may have a good view from the house, but getting to a beach can be a, well, a real “beach”. Common problems are inaccessible or inconvenient beach access (steep cliffs), windy, foggy weather and small or no beaches at high tide (rentals on West Cliff, Pleasure Point, and Opal Cliffs have these problems.)
