The apartment is located in the heart of Miami Beach’s historic district. It’s a 10-minute walk to Miami Beach’s gorgeous, wide and miles-long white sand beach, and one block to world famous and very chic Lincoln Road. It is located on the third (top) floor with an elevator of a 1925 building with lots of character. With over 1,000 square feet (100 square meters), it is spacious, very sunny and absolutely quiet. Recently renovated, it is fully equipped with two TVs, DVD and iPOD players, free WiFi, washer/dryer, and modern kitchen. With two bedrooms and two full baths, it sleeps four comfortably in one king and one queen bed. Hardwood floors throughout and comfortably decorated. Air conditioned plus three ceiling fans. Its many windows look out over treetops and red-tile roofs. Totally private. Tastefully decorated.

Additional information about rental rates

  • We accept on-line credit card payments through PayPal.
  • $100 departure cleaning fee regardless of duration of stay.
    $500 security deposit. (Refundable, of course, if there are no damages other than normal wear-and-tear.)
    Rates include all other taxes, fees, charges and utilities.
    Payment schedule:
    50% of base rent due at time of booking.
    50% balance due 6 weeks prior to start of rental period plus $100 cleaning fee and $500 security deposit.

Notes: iPOD music system available. Just bring your own iPOD. A bicycle is not provided. There is, however, an indoor bike room off lobby to lock-up your own bikes. There is free WiFi but you must have your own computer. There is no telephone (land line) but excellent reception for your cell phone. After 1 December 2009, we can offer an on-street parking permit. There are also three municipal parking lots a 5 minutes walk from our building.

About art, smoking and pets...: The apartment is new for us, and we are awaiting a shipment of wall art to decorate it, which should arrive and be on the walls by December 1. We rent only to non-smokers. No pets.

Stayed for a week in this stylish Deco building. Everything in the apartment was perfect, fully furnished and complete. Your iPod plugs into a fully wired hi-fi system. You can easily cook in if you want, but why bother when Lincoln Road is a block away? (But grocery stores are just a ten minute walk away.) Great restaurants on Lincoln, and Ocean Drive and Washington Road are an easy walk (or a 25 cent shuttle bus ride) away. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to have a great time in the heart of SOBE.

I recently stayed for a week in this apartment and enjoyed everything the area (and the apartment) had to offer. The apartment itself is comfortable and well equipped. The easy access to Lincoln Road and the beach makes it a perfect location. You won't regret a stay here.
