The Owner purchased this house in 2001
The rental was part of the ranch that we purchased.
Enjoy views, fishing, sking, mountain biking relaxing when not working cattle or haying.
This is the place to be! Fishing, hunting, county roads to OHV trails from north and south of the house, ranch life, white water rafting, horseback riding, etc. My family was in heaven, the week we stayed, on their dirt bikes and ATVs most of the time. Be sure to get the topographical maps from the Forest office in Gunnison. Pitkin and Tin Cup are neat towns to ride to. The house was very roomy for 2 families and really appreciated the washer and dryer. Very convenient to Gunnison (20 min), Crested Butte (1 hr, shopping) and 2 National Parks (about 1 hr, Black Canyon of the Gunnison & Curecanti w/Morrow boat tour). Owners were great to work with, be patient with return calls and emails.
This house was everything and MORE than advertised. Jesse and Laura said to call ASAP, if anything went wrong. We did, and it was fixed within the 1/2 hour. The guys LOVED fishing, and I LOVED feeding the goats, chickens, looking at the cows, and ESPECIALLY feeding the horses..............I know we will be back..................Thanks, Laura and Jesse....it is everything you said it would be..............PERFECT for families....
Excellent accommodations. All 7 of us housed comfortably and the owners allowed our overflow family to camp near the house. Jesse and Laura are pleasant and personable and were quick to act when we had a minor plumbing problem.
We spent the weekend with friends at this wonderful location. The owners are so friendly and the location is ideal. This is a great location for families and anyone looking for a place to stay that is right in the middle of everything fun in Gunnison.
7 of us spent 3 nights at this house and loved it. Very comfortable would stay again.
My fishing buddies and I spent 10 days with Jesse and Laura and thoroughly enjoyed it. These folke are great host and will do whatever it takes to make you stay more enjoyable.
