During Spring and Fall, screen porch provides relaxing place to listen to the ocean and relax. Near Boston (50 miles to downtown) and Cape Cod Canal (15 miles) and historic Plimouth Plantation (8 miles) lots of places to visit or just relax and take quiet walks along the private beach (500 yard walk to access beach off season) or enjoy fall foliage or winter or spring walks along Cape Cod Canal or Plymouth's downtown harbor or any number of places in the area.

In season, grill in the backyard, enjoy hours on the beach (access by communal stairs 200 yards away) and fall asleep listening to the sounds of the surf. Screen porch provides nice communal dining area.
The beach is the perfect spot for playing, relaxing, striper fishing in the warmer months and viewing playful harbor seals and cormorants in the fall and winter. The beach stretches for over two miles and is the perfect place for a stroll any time of year.
Local activities:
Plymouth and Manomet: Just 10 minutes by car to Plimouth Plantation, a 17th century replica of a Plymouth village. Just 15 minutes to downtown including Plymouth Harbor and a historical area which include Plymouth Rock, Pilgrim Wax Museum and The Mayflower II, a replica of the original Mayflower ship.
Also local fishing excursion boats, private charter boats, whale watching and other historical tours leave Plymouth harbor daily. Day trips by boat from Plymouth harbor to the picturesque town of Provincetown also available and of course, enjoy local seafood at restaurants. Supermarkets, pharmacies, churches and many restaurants are just minutes away along with a Lobster pound and several seafood stores in case you don’t want to buy or catch your dinner.
