Playa Barqueta Condo Rental Photos and Description
Condo, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)
. This is a value condo. It is located on the top or third floor and is one of the few penthouse units. We purchased this condominium specifically because this elevation offers views of the Pacific Ocean which are unsurpassed.Off the balcony, you can continually watch water life and neighboring birds as well as be a nightly witness to the transformation of the sun as it sets into one of those inspirational moments. We purchased this unit because it was not directly in front of the pool and therefore there is no pool noise or people who might have occasion to look into your condo. Parking lot and air conditioner noise in the junior suite bedrooms will also not be a problem . Although penthouse condominiums are the most expensive to buy, they remain the most desirable and sought-after.
Look and see what other condominium and home owners are writing about the Playa Barqueta/Las Brisas del Mar area. If you are just vacationing or are thinking of buying a home in the area, you need to check this place out. It’s a great long term place to vacation or establish it as your home base while making day trips to such places as: Boquetta, Volcan, Boca Chica or David. There you can experience coffee plantation tours, zip lining, ecological garden tours, shopping, gambling as well as many fine restaurants.
We purchased our condominium during the fall of 2008 and utilized the experience of an expert interior decorator from Panama City to help us furnish it. It continues to be our intent that the vacationers staying in our condominium find the pleasures they are seeking in- part from our condominium’s fine furnishings, tasteful art work and surround sound theatre system. We also offer amenities such as a HP All-In-One Printer/FAX/Scanner and our condo is loaded with board games and recent videos.
This condominium is unit 603 and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is same floor plan as the other 42 condominiums in the Las Brisas del Mar complex. The difference between condominiums are the LOCATION in the complex and the FURNISHINGS. The living area has a large L-shaped white canvas covered sectional sofa with complementary multicolored shams and rustic teak coffee table with matching area carpet. The living area boasts a terrific surround sound theatre system with the heart of it being a High Definition 42 inch Sony Brava TV with BlueRayDVD and CD . This whole system is computer compatible and works great with the existing cable TV, wireless internet and printer. The TV sits on a Trabzon low buffet with drawers that are loaded with over 50 recent videos.
Dining can take place in three areas. There is a bar which is contiguous with the kitchen and has granite countertops along with four leather bar chairs and there is also a large round teak dining table and eight teak rail back chairs with green flowered cushions while the patio area offers the opportunity to enjoy your meals over looking the ocean and pool. Flatware and dinnerware are all from Oneida and will compliment any meal. The kitchen area is very well equipped with gourmet paraphernalia which will allow you to prepare any meal to satisfaction. Stainless steal appliances are standard as are washer and dryer.
The Master bedroom has a king size Simmonds Beautyrest Aristocrat mattress with coral colored Tommy Bahama comforter and matching shams which shows very well against the dark brown color accented wall. The “Coral Reef with Fish” painting and “Koi” prints above the bed are my favorite; especially, when enjoyed with the sounds of breaking surf early in the morning. Look at the ocean photo taken from the Master bedroom and I think you will agree that the view... says it all. There is a master bathroom which is contiguous to the master bedroom. It is all tiled in white and has Waverly towels and accessories as well as a beautiful red flower arrangement. Off of the Master bedroom and living room area is a covered patio area which has a Darius round table along with 4 Rattan dining chairs and cushions. Again, the views... spectacular.
There are two junior bedroom suites which share a full bathroom. Like the master bedroom, it is tiled in white and has plush Waverly towels and a beautiful red floral arrangement. One junior bedroom suite has a queen Simmonds Beautyrest Aristocrat mattress. This room has a large yellow and brown oil painting hanging behind the bed reminiscent of the Caribbean and purchased in Bocas del Toro . This room’s beauty is enhanced by the brown color accented wall, soft contemporary lighting, night stand, dresser, animal wood carving and metal art work of an underwater scene. The second junior suite bedroom has two twin Simmonds Beautyrest Aristocrat mattresses with lime green Ralph Lauren comforter and shams. It also has a night stand and dresser which is complimented by wood carvings and oil paintings also from local artists.
Every room in the condominium has a ceiling fan and all windows have woven wood window shades. The flooring is white tile and each of the rooms have accented wall coloring which helps compliment the uniqueness of this gorgeous condominium. You are going to LOVE it! Watch the video and compair!

Thanks so much for opening your home to us and allowing us to stay there. We were not disappointed and had a great time! My name is Kenneth Zawacki and I have been going to Central America for over 15 years. Recently, my family has joined me and have fallen in love with this piece of paradise. Some of the things we enjoy are: fishing, surfing, hiking, bird watching, kayaking, shopping and of course restaurants. Our other love is the mountains. Our primary residence is in California just south of Lake Tahoe where seasonal snowfall can exceed 30 feet! Quite a difference from Central America. My son is a professional kayak videographer and has published films to his credit and my daughter is a physician. My wife and I hope to retire and live in Central America.
I have been visiting Central America for over 15 years and have made friends in the David/Boquette area. I have been watching the Playa Barqueta/Las Olas area develop and grow and felt that this was a place where my wife and I could retire. We purchased the penthouse unit because of the spectacular views which are not available at lower elevations. We are looking forward to future development of golf course and enjoy the recently completed tennis courts.
