I booked a stay and I couldn't be more pleased with how wonderful and helpful Chrissie was to me. She was very easy to keep in touch with and kindly answered all my questions. She even offered me a private showing. So I took a drive down to the shore to the beach house where I met Chrissie face to face. She was ever so sweet and wonderfully helpful. She walked me around the entire property and every thing looked pristine. In the Kitchen you have everything you need and dishes and appliances are all super clean!!! The living room is comfortable and the bedrooms are roomy. I didn't smell any odor or mildew smell coming from any of the bedrooms or any where else in the house, nor did I smell any air freshener as if the smell was being covered up (One of my concerns)
The newly renovated bathroom is just gorgeous. We love the his/hers double bowl sinks. And the first floor laundry section off the bathroom is great! The shower is new, clean and comfy with a little seat built into it for sitting. Very Cute!
Out side a backyard shower a picnic area and a gas grill. That will also be quite a great convenience! The area is very quiet and peaceful.
The houses in the area are all well kept and there is a beautiful castle up the road which was once a hotel that had accommodated wealthy visitors such as Howard Hughes and the Rockefellers and actors Ethel Barrymore, Charlie Butterworth, Helen Hayes and Charlie Chaplin.” In the era of Prohibition, the Inn was beset with gambling raids and rum-running operations that lasted well into the 1930's.
The beach is quiet and clean. We walked there in about a minute or less up to the beach where the water was calm, shallow and fairly warm! The kids enjoyed it. Its geat for the younger ones who just like to wade in the water or play in the sand.
Well, I hope this review was helpful and I will be sure to write more after our stay.
