Enter a peaceful sanctuary in a quiet mountain setting. Wind down a beautiful paved road, through tall pines and majestic oaks to a beautiful family compound at the end of the road only 5 min. off I - 80. No highway or train noise. Tahoe style interior with plenty of warmth and comfort for your whole family or just you and your sweetheart. Relax in one of the hammocks or in the new spa on the large deck after a hike on one of the trails near the house or a day of skiing at one of the nearby ski resorts. Play ping pong, put together jigsaw puzzles, play any of the many board games or video games, play cards, enjoy the large library, watch an old movie, shoot some hoops, toss the football, play badminton or croquet or just relax in this beautiful comfortable setting.

Expansive deck that overlooks the woods with comfortable lawn furniture, two hammocks for your relaxation.

Hike to sunrise cliff, the American River, an old miner's cabin, a very cool tunnel, to numerous ponds, a waterfall, and/or a mountain lake where you can swim or just relax in one of the hammocks in the solitude of the forest. Spa on the deck under the stars for your relaxation and enjoyment and a large jacuzzi bath tub in the bathroom for soaking after a fun day of hiking or skiing. Bring your clothes, some food and you'll find the rest here for your use and enjoyment. Babysitter and local hike guide available.

Kid Friendly: Ping pong table, badminton, games, books, puzzles, video games, basketball court, football, soccer, cards, beads, art supplies, cookie cutters.....

Pet Friendly:: This must be prearranged with the owner. There is a friendly black lab that lives on the property and there are other dogs in the neighborhood. They are friendly.

Golf: There are numerous Golf Courses within a 30 min. drive from the house. The Ridge in Auburn, Dark Horse near Lake of the Pines....

Other Activities: Numerous local hiking trails to old gold mining areas, the American River canyon, much local history and ponds for exploring or swimming, less than 10
