Ocracoke Vacation Rental house

I knew when I first stepped into the doorway of the porch, this was a very special home. It flowed with the nature around it, and was calming. The owner came by to make sure everything was in order and to check to see if we needed anything, which we didn't, everything was perfect. My husband and I live about 90 miles to the north on the Outer Banks, and just wanted a quick getaway. We also wanted a place that we could take our dog Maggie. This was the perfect solution.
The home far exceeded our expectations. The decor and environment were peaceful, simple and relaxing, exactly what we wanted. We could hear the sound of the ocean at the same time as the crickets chirping in the night. A perfect getaway for anyone.
The design of the home is simple, yet elegant. It is inspiring and comforting. I think what we liked most was the efficient use of the available space. We also like the fact that the home is so eco friendly. The home feels like it is far larger than it is, and the way the porch opens up to the great room makes a perfect setting for families or couples. The home is also very convenient to anywhere on the island. We were able to walk to the beach, to get coffee, and meet friends for lunch. The central location is perfect for whatever you want to do.
We will definitely be back to stay at this home again. We looked at many places on the island, and this is the one we will return to year after year. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.
