Your hosts are Mark (a winemaker) and Leanne, who are well traveled; enjoy good food, wine and the great outdoors. We picked this neighborhood to build our dream home and settle down and we know that you will enjoy it as well. Shopping tours, advice on the sights and sounds of the city as well as guiding to the great outdoors are available upon request.
This little apartment is a great escape from the typical hotel experience. Mark did a great job of remodeling the basement apartment with a very comfy bed, flat screen, kitchen, etc. Many great restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, as well as public transportation. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks for the great advice Mark, we enjoyed our short stay!
Good location. Reasonable price. Clean. A bit "dark" (as it is a basement unit and the interior lighting is low wattage CFL). Interesting neighborhood. As the owner said "This is a great place to stay for younger folks who are out exploring or partying and just need a place to crash".
Enjoyed my time at the suite. The owner, Mark was very helpful. Greeted me as I arrived. Had a problem with the TV and he handled it right away.
Everything worked out as planned. The owner was very helpful in coping with our needs. The suite is very cozy and has everything one needs for a short - or even longer - stay. The location was also excellent, very close to public transportation and to various restaurants and groceries. I would certainly recommend this place.
Very easy & simple place to stay for a couple days
Good neighborhood parking on the street
I would stay there again
The Main St. Vineyard is a great place to come home to after touring Vancouver. It is comfy, cozy and clean. The bed is so comfortable. The bathroom is clean and bright. We love the neighborhood with it's many stores and restaurants. Our two regrets.... not taking advantage of the hot tub and not being able to stay longer. Thank you Mark and Leanne for the perferct spot.
