We would like to thank you for sharing your home with us. It was a real treat to be able to stay in a home and garden, which has had such loving attention. We have totally enjoyed it. You left sufficient gems that we would look up and find something new and interesting and yet not feel overpowered by it. Just the perfect mix. Your lamps in particular are enchanting. Unfortunately I had to work while at the cottage and the WiFi has made my life so much easier, and if one has to work, this is a nice place to do it.
Many many thanks. We will leave your house in great shape for your next guest.
Belinda and Martin
We moved to gorgeous Carmel Valley from San Francisco right after we were married in 2000. We lived in our home until 2008, enjoying riding our horses, playing and singing in the local restaurants (we are musicians and artists), and making life-long friends. In 2008 we moved to Los Angeles, but did not want to lose our magical home. Renting it out for vacation rentals allows us to visit from time to time, never often enough. We know you will enjoy it as much as we do, everyone does! Pamela and Bruce Forman
We fell in love with the classic Carmel Valley post adobe 'early California' styling of this home. The adobe bricks were handmade right here in Carmel Valley in the 1950s. But what we love most is the large piece of land our cottage sits on. So many areas to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Coming from 'the city' it is a little slice of heaven . . .
It's so peaceful and private here - the view from every window is gorgeous - trees, gardens, hills. Wonderful walks right outside the door, up the canyon to the Kahn Ranch extension of Garland Park, down the canyon to the glorious river. The town of Carmel Valley Village is the friendliest place on earth, and the safest - people still don't lock their doors here! Have a drink at the Running Iron up the road, you could be sitting next to a celebrity, or a local cowboy (yes, they still exist, and we have 'em here) Be sure to take a walk at night, I've never seen more stars ANYWHERE.
