New December dates just opened up! One bedroom 1920s one level attached cottage 1 block from trendy Hawthorne neighborhood delights including Grand Central Bakery, Jam on Hawthorne, movies, produce stand and much more. End unit. No neighbors above or below; only on one side. Great special rates when you book your September, October, or November stay of three or more nights by October 1st. Many dates are still available--please see our calendar for specifics. Three night minimum but feel free to check in for availability for shorter stays. Funky Hawthorne charm of this cute one level 'shabby chic' apartment cannot be beat. A wonderful place to stay while visiting Portland friends or family or just exploring the city for fun! Not a hotel-like atmosphere with crisp designer furnishings--it's cozy, funky, mismatched, and comfortable.

Hawthorne Vintage Charm: Built in the '20s, this is a cute and classic apartment with hardwood floors and leaded glass front windows. The kitchen is small, cute, and very usable, including a lovely dining nook. Or have your morning coffee out on the shared back patio under the plum tree instead!

Cool Neighborhood: Walking distance from trendy Hawthorne Boulevard, in a friendly neighborhood near a wealth of restaurants, cafes, vintage and urban shops. A farm stand and bakery are one block down and the grocery store is five minutes away (less if you walk fast!) The public bus stop is also one block away, with buses making the 10-minute trip downtown every 15 minutes or less.

Other Activities: Shopping, kayaking, wandering through the neighborhood looking at the sweet vintage homes. 3 blocks from official Bike Blvd. Cafes and shops abound.
