PIER VIEW BEACH HOUSE, BEST LOCATION IN SOUTH HAVEN, PRIVATE BEACH

The actual house location surpasses the listing details. You could not get any closer to the beach or town. My family absolutely loved staying in this (very clean) beach house. In the morning we would step off the bottom deck, down the stone stairs right to the private beach, the girls preferring to suntan all day and the guys to play around with football or frisbee. If we felt like getting an ice cream cone or snack we would walk down the beach to the concession stand, from there maybe walk the pier or go into town for a bit. For dinner we cooked on the gas grill and enjoyed watching the sun set from the dinning room table on the covered porch. If some of us girls got tired of laying in the sun and wanted to change it up for the day we would walk to town and shop in the many stores and grab a quick lunch. Some nights after dinner we would catch a movie at the cinema downtown, or play cards on the back deck. All in all its a great little beach house and we loved it and the beach town of South Haven. Can’t wait to get back for another stay.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful cottage this past summer. We stayed with our daughter, her husband and their three grandsons. The cottage and large decks provided plenty of space for our entire family. The beach is only steps away from the back deck and a wonderful park is located immediately across the street. The town of South Haven is a very short walk away. We had a week filled with lots of beach fun, tanning, shopping, berry picking, and site seeing! We also ate at many of the nice restaurants in South Haven. There are several restaurants that have become our favorites - Clementines, Maria's, Phoenix Street Cafe, and Su Casa Mexican Restaurant, just to name a few. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone interested in visiting a the best (in our opinion!) beach town on Lake Michigan. You will absolutely love the cottage and the town of South Haven!

This house fit 4 adults and 4 kids comfortably. The location (on the beach), walk to town, 1 block from Kid's Corner was perfect. The beach is the best! The house had all the amenities we needed, nicely equipped kitchen, bed/bath linens. Beach adirondack chairs to use. Looking forward to coming back soon!
