My family rented this property for a week in August and loved the place! This house is freshly remodeled after Ike, and it is the most well-stocked rental house we've ever stayed in. We were even able to bake a cake because there were electric mixers available in the kitchen! There is a downstairs bedroom with a bathroom, so if anyone can't climb the stairs to the main floor, there is a very nice second master arrangement at the ground level. The house was clearly well maintained, and the furnishings and layout were sensible and comfortable. We loved the Jamaica Beach area and found it relaxing to be away from the more populous beach areas in Galveston. The beach is expansive and we had plenty of shallow tide area to play in the waves. We will definitely look forward to renting this property again in the future!
