Welcome to 'Desert Dream':
Vicki -
As the owner of this home, I wanted to create a haven for myself and my family. Tucson not only warms my body, but my heart and soul. I come to rejuvenate, to relax, to shed the burdens of daily life and let the calmness of the desert embrace me.
Todd & Stacey -
We want your visit to Desert Dream to be a memorable vacation for you and your family. Enjoy all that Tucson and its surrounding attractions have to offer. The home is well appointed and should have everything you need for a very enjoyable visit. As always, simply call if you need suggestions for things to do, restaurants, or places to see.
Things to Do:
Where do we begin? Hiking, horseback riding, jeep tours, shopping, golf, flying lessons, hot air ballooning, baseball, antiquing, history, Spanish missions, art, museums, local markets, Mexico, Tombstone, The Copper Queen Mine, botanical gardens, Reid Park Zoo, or learn to salsa dance at El Parador. How about a dip in your pool overlooking the Catalina Mountains, or curling up with a good book on the covered patio, or basking in the sun (while your friends are freezing back home). It's all here and more. Come and let us share it with you.
Where to eat.:
Ahhhh...where to eat? How do I begin? Do you head down to the University area and taste all of the sandwich shops and exotic fare? Or go downtown for Cafe Poco Cosa - imaginative Mexican cuisine? Or hit the nearby Thunder Canyon Brewery or World Sports Grill? The J Bar Lounge or La Pasada for happy hour with a view. Hit La Encantada Mall for Ra (sushi), NoRTH (modern Italian cuisine), Blancos (tacos & tequila), Blue Fin (seafood) and you can always pop into AJ's (excellent fine foods grocer). For the best pancakes in town, you've got to drive down to BoBo's - the all American greasy spoon. Try Frank's for breakfast with an attitude. Viavace is always a top dining choice. Number #1 choice for the ladies - choose from Sauce or Wildflower. And don't forget your own backyard. Fire up the BBQ and have some steaks on the grill.
