And, we loved the cottage! The location was ideal, steps from the beach and we had quick access to Times Square and all it had to offer. Thank you for the advice on restaurants. You were right on. Nothing was overlooked in equipping the cottage. Every item and utensil was in place and the list of directions was very helpful. The location also allowed us to explore Sanibel Island and the “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Preserve. We first went by car but returned to hike the trails and we rented bikes to explore and observe the birds and other wildlife. Kayaking was also on our list as was fishing in the Gulf from our daughter’s boat. What a wonderful time we had!

What a wonderful cottage. We spent two weeks there and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It had just about anything you could possibly want furnished for you. Right across from a beach access which made it so easy to walk the beach. Walking down the road toward the end of the island was neat. We could see the canal, actually had a small park that was right on the canal. Made that walk a few times....Max, our dog, loved the whole experience. Thanks to the owners for making it so easy to rent. Would go back in a second!!

My fiancee and I traveled to Ft Myers, Florida so that we could find a place to get married, and we didn't want to spend an exorbitant amount of money on a hotel for the week, so we looked around and were very impressed with this property. After speaking with the owner, we decided to stay for the week, and were also pleased with the flexibility of the owner letting us rent from Monday to Monday, rather than the typical Saturday to Saturday. When we arrived at the property, we were extremely happy with the size as well as how spotless everything was. I was very impressed with how clean the house was when we arrived, with beds made, bedroom linens organized and, closets empty of everything except for hangers. The property was exactly as the listing described, and the photos found online accurately represented the house and amenities. Two bedrooms were beneficial to us as well, because my fiancee's mother and grandfather traveled with us. The entire house was in great condition, from the bathroom to the kitchen to the bedrooms. It was a great relief to be able to retire to the house after a long day of appointments and not have to worry about anything breaking or being non-functional. One of the best things about this property is that it is directly across the street from the beach and just a couple blocks from some great restaurants and tourist spots. Overall, this was the perfect property for us during our stay in Florida, which is why we are renting the same property again this coming August to finalize all of our arrangements for the wedding. We may even stay on this property a third time next year for a week before our actual ceremony. I am confident that we will find the property in as pristine condition during this next trip as we found it last year.
