Perfect location for one month "home away from home"

We stayed in the cabin for March 2013 so we could watch as much Hampden-Sydney baseball as possible. Our work is portable, so we packed laptops and headed to Farmville! Our daughter joined us for her spring break, and our son enjoyed having "home" just a few minutes from H-SC instead of seven hours. Wonderful comfortable furnishings in great room, ample bedrooms, linens and blankets in excellent condition and plentiful. Towels as promised--big and fluffy. Kitchen fully stocked, and I mean fully. Small appliances, dishes, utensils (including sharp knives), pots, pans, etc. I cooked for a month--pies, cookies, meatloaf, chicken, steak, eggs, bacon, smoothies--and I never reached for anything and thought "Darn, where's the _____?" We had unseasonably cold weather, but the surroundings are beautiful, quiet, soothing, whether sunny, rainy, or snowy (we had all three). We loved Farmville and did not miss city/suburban traffic.Sharon was delightful to talk with and email with as plans were made, and, to accommodate the guys' need for the MLB Channel (the ONE channel missing!), Sharon found a 3-month subscription to MLB to add to her account. She signed up, and I dropped a check in the mail, and the guys caught lots of spring training games. Clean, comfortable, homey. We moved in on March 1 and were settled in in minutes. We leave tomorrow, and we will miss this Slice of Heaven (until our next visit, of course). Internet reception was very good. Because of work, we travel with Verizon hotspots and found these helpful if signal strength dropped (which can happen anywhere). Just something to keep in mind if your visit to the cabin involves your work.
