“Raven’s Nest,” (one of two Enchanted Eagle Vacation Luxury Retreats in Langley), with an Eagle’s eye view of beautiful Holmes Harbor, the snow-capped Olympic Mountains and soaring eagles on beautiful Whidbey Island.
You will enjoy the open kitchen with granite counter tops, which is fully equipped with all you will need for preparing your most complex meals, with a great view of both the Woodland Grove and the Harbor so you can cook and enjoy the views and visit with everyone in the Great Room at the same time! The Breakfast Bar with granite counter top seats 3 and/or provides extra room for serving. The Oak dining table seats up to 10 with its extension leaves, and opens out onto the large Deck overlooking the Harbor. There is also a laundry room available for your use.
The 41’ x 10’ Deck provides a prime spot to relax in lounge chairs on sunny days sipping lemonade, taking in the essence of the Great Northwest, overlooking the Harbor and the memorable scene of eagles in flight...or at night, watching the thousands of stars sparkling in the dark night sky like diamonds. There is also a 17’ x 8’ covered porch with a table and chairs overlooking the Woodland Grove with its magnificent towering firs, hydrangeas, Rhododendrons, wildflowers & stone art. There is a gas BBQ grill and picnic table where you can enjoy lunch and a hammock to nap in after lunch!
Our private gated community BEACH is just a 5-minute walk (or quick drive) down the hill where you can lounge in the sun, walk along the beach watching eagles that come to feed at low tide, take a dip in the water, or utilize the picnic tables and covered pavilion, and make s’mores at the fire pit. There is also a game lawn and a boat ramp, so bring along your frisbees, kayaks, canoes, sailboats, motorboats and jets skis, etc.! (Bring along your beach towels too!)
