Perfect Place in Porto

This apartment gives you the opportunity to soak up the atmosphere of old Porto, just one block up from the riverside... you will feel you are really "living in the neighborhood." There is an abundance of light from the many windows overlooking cobble-stoned streets, the park across the street, nearby shops, sidewalk restaurants, views of and across the river, and the Hop-on Hop-off bus just outside, around the corner. From our initial inquiry as to availability right through our departure, everything went just the way we wanted and hoped it would. The owner was most helpful with pre-arrival information; when we arrived the property manager was very detailed in explaining how everything worked; the apartment is modern, (it looks almost new tho the building itself is quite old) it is very well appointed, very clean, the bed comfortable, the shower hot... what more is there to be said. We always measure our level of satisfaction by asking ourselves "Would we do this again?" and here our answer is an unqualified, enthusiastic:"YES"... seven nights was many nights too few! By the way, we highly recommend this location as a prime spot from which to join the celebration of Porto's São Jão Festival in late June - we watched "St. John's Fire" (and the crowds below) from our third story windows... quite spectacular!
