The cottage sits just 25 feet from the water's edge. Like all proper oceanfront summer cottages, it is oriented towards the water, with beautiful views of the beach and the open ocean from almost every room. A nicely landscaped lawn surrounds the cottage and hedges of beach roses frame the path down to the beach. A hammock sits under the mature maple tree, the covered swing is a perfect place to read and the picnic table will play host to many outside lobster bakes and cook outs. The spacious master bedroom has incredible views of the ocean. The den area is a great place to relax at the end of the day. A pull-out sofa offers additional sleeping quarters. The dining room and living room are combined - lined with large windows overlooking the front lawn and the ocean. A very comfortable sofa and the gas-fired brick fireplace makes this room a popular spot to gather. The galley-style kitchen is reminiscent of days gone by with beautiful shiplap cupboards, built-ins, and a breakfast bar.

A coffeemaker, toaster and microwave are also provided. Crescent Beach Cottage is located on a dead end road which minimizes traffic. This is a peaceful place within walking distance to the village center of Owls Head (find a neat General Store there, as well as a library, post office and a wharf to buy lobsters). Within a 5–10 minute drive, find Rockland and all it has to offer. Tenants Harbor, Port Clyde, Camden and Rockport are all a sort distance away as well. Owls Head is a great place to feel away from it all while still having all the Midcoast area has to offer at your fingertips!
