WOW what a great Vacation!

My family and I shared this home with two other couples and everyone was thrilled with the home. The location is perfect, you cant get closer to the trails if you tried. The views from the terrace are amazing and the home is warm and inviting. The owner goes out of her way to accommodate your needs and makes the rental process painless. Overall I was very pleased with the home and would rent again for sure!

Worst vacation rental and slimy owners

Horrible >>> Very Unsafe place for children and adults too.

I know it's been more than a year but 'better late than never' and hopefully I might stop more people to fall into this gimmicks.

- As soon as we switched the fan in the dining area (one blade was missing! ) and the way the fan turned with the blinking light in it seemed as if the light would burst and the fan would crash the dining table. Everyone got very scared and children started crying.
- The gap between the stairs/railings were NOT covered (they said it was covered when we called them) We had a tough time taking care of our kids so that they don't get hurt.
- Poorly maintained linen.
- Poor maintenance service support, we had to play phone tag
-Initially they said Cleaning Expenses are included. But due to some spilled rice on the floor they pocketed $200 of the deposit.

Owner's Response: we have rented for over 26 years both Ocean city n.j and camelback this was one of the worst experiences we had with a tenant they were they were filthy rice pease etc ground into carpets food all over everything in the living rom and kitchen the smell in the house after they left was almost impossible to get out i am used to getting rave reviews. As for the stairs its a spiral staircase the bedroom upstairs is completly closed off they complained about the deck there are 300 plus house in the village all withthe same deck s built to code I HAVE NEVER HAD A COMPLAINT IN ALL THE YEARS WE HAVE RENTED THESE TENANTS WERE THE FIRST PEOPLE THE HOUSE KEEPING CREW CALLED ME TO COME TO THE MOUNTAIN AND SEE WHAT THEY HAD DONE TO THE HOUSE AND THE FILTHY CONDITION THE LEASE CLEARLY TELLS PEOPLE WHAT IS EXPOECTED WITH REGARD TO HOW THEY LEAVE THE HOUSE I COULD NOT BELEIVE THAT ANY HUMAN BEING WOULD EXPECT ANOTHER PERSON TO COME IN AND CLEAN THAT KIND OF FILTH BEHIND THEM AS FOR THE FAN IT WAS NOT BROKEN OR MISSING A BLADE TO THE BEST OF OUR KNOWLEDGE BUT I CANT IMAGINE THAT IF THERE WAS A BROKEN OR MISSING BLADE THAT IT CAUSED SO MUCH TRAMA THEY TOLD ME ALL OF THIS ON THE PHONE AND WANTED MONET BACK FOR WHAT THEY CONSIDERED AN INCONVIENCE SOME PEOPLE TRY TO BARGAIN A LITTLE DIFFERENT I AM AN INTERIOR DESIGNER A PROFFESIONAL FOR 36 YEARS I HAVE NEVER DONE AN INJUSTICE TO ANYONE AND BELEIVE ME THERE WAS NO INJUSTICE DONE TO ANY ONE BUT ME AND MY HOMW THIS THESE PEOPLE
