Married for 25 years to a wonderful man who happened to visit Chicago from the west of Ireland :)
We have a daughter 18, and a son 16 who keep us on our toes. We bought this condo in 2004 because we loved all the windows and the magnificent views of the beach. We also liked that it was NOT a part of a large condo complex.
This condo feels much more like a beach cottage than it does a condo. Almost all of the condos we looked at had three solid walls and one large window facing the beach. This particular condo has three outside walls, so the living area, kitchen, and bedrooms all have great sun light and beach views.
We also removed some walls and added floor to ceiling sliding glass doors so that the entire condo could be opened to the beach. We then added floor to ceiling windows where a solid wall used to be in the living area. We finished the extensive remodeling about a week before hurricane Charley took the roof off the building, and we had to start all over again!!!
Anyways, it has been worth it all. We love the condo and the north end of Ft. Myers Beach is so unique
