Less than 2 hours by car from New York City, this charming log sided cabin is quaintly nestled in the Poconos close to Milford, PA, and is a paradise for those who see the solitude of the country and the accessibility and charm of nearby villages. Situated in a hemlock glen complete with wild rhododendrons and a fresh water brook less than 15' away from the back door. Onsite and locale activities, include antiquing, hiking, biking, waterfall sight seeing, fishing, canoeing, swimming, outlet shopping, fall foliage and more. Situated on a completely private acre with nature and wildlife in abundance. The interior boasts of an open space complete with a working stone fireplace, wireless internet, cable TV, vaulted ceiling, hardwood floors, modern galley kitchen, charming loft and additional small room for office or sleeping. Outside is a stone patio directly behind the cabin overlooking the brook and on a wooden deck on the side - all with customized Adirondack furniture.

Hi Steve,

Just wanted to send a note to say that Scott and I had a wonderful time at your house in the woods. What a charming and beautifully done cabin. While we saw no bears - we felt like we were in the middle of the woods and enjoyed sleeping under the roof and having fires nightly.
Thanks again - we are already talking about a return visit!

Everything As Advertised!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here this past weekend....

We had a great time just relaxing in front of the fireplace, reading, watching movies, playing and dancing to music. The furniture was very comfortable and the queen bed was quite firm, not your typical 30yr. old bed sagging in the middle like you get at some cottages! The sound of the brook running immediately behind the cottage added a soothing and romantic touch to the weekend.

Outside is total wooded seclusion, yet close enough to town to walk to the quaint shops and restaurants of all varieties including our favorite spot, Frettas Italian Food Specialties which carries a variety of soups, sandwiches, entrees and desserts to go. We also cooked dinner ourselves with more than adequate cooking utensils on the cottage's gas stove.

We also hiked to a nearby waterfall near the cottage which was beautiful this time of year.

All in all it was a great time. Private and peaceful. We look forward to a return engagement soon. Thank you!
