About Steven Minning

Originally from the Midwest - a New Yorker of 30 years!

Steven Minning purchased this cottage in 2006

Why Steven Minning chose Milford

The proximity to New York is so convenient and easy to get to. The property feels so private - you feel as though you are in the middle of the country, yet you are only a 10 minute walk into the middle of the town of Milford PA. The community is quaint, with good shops, good dining and minimum amount of tourists. Go the Milford Diner for some pancakes in morning and hob-nob with the locals. The area has all the amenities to go out or stay at home!

Guestbook comments from the owner

The cottage was unbelievable !! So serene and peaceful.

We took lots of pics and will forward those to you soon

We made use of the barbecue grill, kitchen and all utensils.

You have done a wonderful job of decorating and had all the essentials plus more!

We have stayed in dozens of homes and cottages throughout the years and

I said to my girlfriend(Jacqui) this is by far the best place we stayed.

It is a perfect getaway, fairly close, reasonably priced, perfect size, beautiful brook,

intense scenery i could go on and on. Steven you really did a nice job, we really enjoyed our stay

And thanks for your great communication, it is greatly appreciated.

We wish you the best of luck and we look forward to visiting again soon.

Wonderful!

I had a fantastic stay. The cottage was nice and cozy. Wish I could have stayed longer . Not a fan of the restaurants out there. I will purchase food at the grocery store and cook next time. I will definitely come again!

Perfect Getaway

  • of 5

We had such a wonderful time at the cabin over New Years. It is in a perfect location, isolated enough in the woods, but close enough to the town of Milford if you should need anything. There are many hiking trails (including a portion of the Appalachian Trail) and waterfalls nearby to explore, although we spent most of our time at the cabin, enjoying the chill vibe warm next to the fire. We are hoping to return during the warmer months so we can better enjoy the brook right outside the cabin!

Beautiful, homey cabin experience

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time in Steve's cozy, homey, beautiful cabin. The living room is comfortable and the fireplace is charming. The kitchen is laid out to make clever use of space and the loft is snug and warm. The sound of the brook at night, all you hear, is calming and gentle. Milford is a charming holiday town with interesting shops and dining options. We look forward to coming back.

Story book cottage

We had the most relaxing time in Steve's beautiful cabin. The beautiful scenery and brook in the back were a nature oasis. He thought of every detail that we needed to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. We truly felt as though we were in a friend's cottage - not a rental. There is plenty to do in the Milford area if you care to leave the cozy cabin. A very special place to be!
