AFFORDABLE LUXURY CONDO - EXCLUSIVE GATED COMMUNITY

I just returned from a quick trip down to SXM and my stay at AquaMarina X51 could not have been better. This was my first time using VRBO and I was definitely more than a little nervous to pull the trigger, however, I am certainly glad I did. Communication with the owners could not have been better and the transaction was simple and smooth. Bruce and Joyce answered all of my questions, offered advice, and genuinely cared that I had a great vacation. About the condo itself? There really isn't anything I can add that hasn't already been said in previous reviews. The condo is fantastic and is exactly as described - clean, quiet, private, modern furnishings, well-appointed, and perfect for one or two people. Although my trip was very short and I never really used it, the kitchen is fully applianced and has everything you could need for a longer stay. The balconies offer great views of Simpson Bay lagoon. The AC works great and it is fantastic to have a washer/dryer in the condo. Another plus, is the reassurance provided by having an onsite contact if you should have any questions. The location was perfectly convenient to all the places I frequent, with short drives to anywhere from Baie Nettle through Simpson Bay. My experience at AM X-51 could not have been better. Our experience at this condo was exceptional. It
was very bright, open, clean, nicely furnished and
very modern. The kitchen had all necessities for
an extended stay and the 2 balconies provided a
wonderful view of Simpson Bay. The building was
a modern, high rise, in a secure gated community.
The owners were very helpful and easy to deal
with. It made our stay even more pleasant. The
location was very nice as well. Close to a lot of
entertainment on the Dutch side and a short drive
brings you to the French side with beautiful,
secluded beaches. We highly recommend this
unit. Thank you Joyce and Bruce for letting us
stay there!

My husband and I stayed in this condo for our honeymoon Oct 23 to Oct 30 2012. Everything about our stay worked beautifully. Bruce and Joyce had a bottle of champagne and a nice card wishing us a happy honeymoon. The condo is clean and modern with two beautiful views off the balconies. We spent a lot of time on the living room balcony enjoying breakfast or a bottle of wine. The complex is quiet and clean with lobbies that have modern tasteful furnishings. There is a nice swimming pool with lounge chairs. Complex removed from the hustle and bustle but yet is just a short drive to nice beaches and restaurants. The list of restaurants that Bruce provided for us from the AquaMarina website served us well. The condo had nice towels and linens including beach towels. There was also a small cooler and some extra tote bags that helped when we took a picnic to the beach. Full size American fridge and stove and microwave which was nice for preparing some meals. Enjoyed the Nespresso maker and French press. We were there while Hurricane Sandy was brewing. Bruce generously offered us the condo free of charge for any additional days we might have needed it. It was so very kind! It gave us peace of mind knowing we would have had a place to stay if needed!! Bruce and Joyce have made a lovely condo with all of their guests needs in mind and are kind and professional to top it off. Local contact was very helpful. Highly recommend Aquamarina X51. We had a wonderful stay! Thank you again Bruce and Joyce.
