Surrounding area and on site caretaker:
The English speaking Dagres family, owning a tavern, cares for guests on site. The menu of the day is changed everyday, depending on the season and the offer of the local market. Mr Dagres is actually the 'plus' of our holiday house. All of our guests have always enjoyed his kindness and helpfulness at any time of the day or night. Other taverns, fish restaurants, cafes and snack bars located on the beach and in the village will provide you with culinary diversion. On the beach you will also find children's playgrounds, promenade to have a walk, and cafes with music, so that you never get bored. Most of the ancient Greek and Byzantine places of interest can be the aim of daily excursions: Corinth, Delphi, Olympia, Epidaurus, Sparta, Argos, Athens, Mycenae, Tripoli, Mystras, Naphlion, Epidaurus, and a lot more. Last but not least: Nerantza and the neighbour beach of Vrachati were granted the 'Blue Flag' for the good water quality of the sea.

In the garden you will find among others: lemon, fig, olive and pomegranate trees, and pines. Our guests can harvest. The house name comes from the luxuriant small oleander bushes on the way leading to the property. Three huge poplars are the confidential emblem of the village, used by boat owners to find their way back home. It takes about one hour or less to reach Athens from the house. We will help you to find a rental car to favourable conditions. We can arrange for you the taxi service with Mr Dimitris Zoes, if you want it. He picks up our guests at the Athens or Patras airport.
