This large lovely American style home features two bedrooms, one bath, large living and dining area and fully equipped kitchen; all newly renovated. It is located in the mid Pacific coastal region of Costa Rica, between two of the most popular tourist areas - Jaco and Quepos/ Manual Antonio. If you are looking for a private tranquil beach getaway with awesome sunsets and many activities within close proximity, look no further.
The house is nestled between shady coconut palms with the river (Estero) in the back yard and the ocean in the front. Whether you like to fish or prefer a tour through the mangroves (available right next door) this is the right place.
The beach is very secluded and it is not uncommon to be the only person walking or relaxing on the beautiful natural soft sanded beach. Fishing in the ocean is also worthwhile and for those who prefer a deep sea charter, many are available only 30 minutes away in Quepos.
One hundred yards from the home is a local hotel with a restaurant, bar and large swimming pool with available pool privileges. A variety of tours and activities such as zip lining in the forest, horse back riding on the beach, kayaking, boat rides, monkey tours, canoeing, and fishing trips can be arranged from here.
The owner is fluent in both Spanish and English and most accommodating. Best of all, we have an American property manager and a Costa Rican caretaker available to help make your visit to our beautiful remote island most enjoyable and carefree.
A few miles down the beach on La Isla Palo Seco is a water sports resort with boating trips along the river, jet-ski rentals and paragliding available. The small town of Parrita is only 15 minutes away on the mainland with grocery stores, variety stores, a bakery, coffee shops and many restaurants.
Physicians, dentists and “user-friendly” pharmacies are in town and a hospital is only 30 minutes away in Quepos. Several Internet cafes and banks with ATM machines are also readily available.
Manual Antonio is a national ocean front park only 30 minutes away. There you can see monkeys, snorkel, swim, rent a surf board or kayak in the naturally protected ocean front park. In addition there are Casinos, unique shops and a variety of restaurants in the area for many fine dining experiences.
