Also, you can explore our 450-plus acre estate and enjoy multi-varietal flora (and fauna, if lucky) including dozens of the world's largest and oldest Manazanita trees (some 35 feet and 100 years old). There are dozens of Manzanita Groves you are welcome to view and/or picnic on the 450 acres as well as massive Granite boulders from which to oversee the San Juaquin Valley and multi-city lights at night. Our property is abundant in native historical sites as well, such as 'Sontag Point'. This was the 'lookout' for the Sontag & Evans train robbers gang of the late 1800's. From this point they could see the 'Posse' riding up the Valley--in sufficient time to high-tail it out the back side! It's just a short hike to the top to see for yourself. We are in the Sequoia National Forest which is adjacent to the National Parks and one could literally travel by foot or horseback over a million acres and not traverse the same place twice!
