Ocho Rios Vacation Rental studio

Me and my husband found this accomodation on the internet about 2 weeks before we were leaving for our trip. We stayed here Oct 5-12/09. The lady renting out the unit was very nice and accomodating and answered all of our questions, and she also let us start our vacation despite the cheque not clearing in time. The resort was very very quiet, with only a couple other people staying there. The pool (small but good) was kept very clean by a lifeguard during the day. I found him to be the most reliable to book outings such watersports or day trips. The restraunt and the bar were reasonable, a bit pricey and the staff were not very outgoing - but still friendly. I found that unless you approached somebody, nobody really bothered you or looked your way.
The room that we rented was on the 3rd floor (top floor) and overlooked 2 other buildings and also the grounds, with flowers and palm trees. It was a nice unit with everything that you would need. There are two twin beds, but they were pushed together so me and my husband could sleep together. The sheets and linens and towels were all very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. There was a small balcony that was handy to have. The airconditioning was very nice and worked very very well! There were some areas in the apartment that were dirty and not working, but when relaying this to the owner she said she would be dealing with it right away.
This accomodation is reasonable for what the price was. It was small, cute, clean, and comfortable - a good deal for the price.
