Marina District Apartment Rental Photos and Description
Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)
This is a new building, constructed in 2001. I was one of the first tenants to move into in the building and I enjoy every moment here. It is spacious with very high ceilings over 12 feet throughout the property. There is lovely recessed lighting and lamps throughout, as well as an electric remote controlled fireplace for a very romantic setting! Perfect for curling up on the couch, turning on the fireplace, and the digital cable is perfect for watching a movie on the 32 inch HD TV.
** ROKU BOX HD included ***
The windows are double-paned insuring you get some quiet time after being out in the city. You can relax in the very large bathroom that has a fan and heater in the ceiling and the tub is perfect for a relaxing bubble or salt bath - it is WONDERFUL!
All of the appliances - oven, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, the plumbing system, are all brand new and the washer and dryer are located in the home for easy use.
There is a desk/office nook for your own laptop. If you require your own connection, please inquire about owner's personal WiFi connection and instructions will be provided. (free WiFi)
There is a very nice gym quality treadmill in the apartment for you to get a workout in! There is a reading corner with a comfy armchair and it's own lamp. The bedroom is large and airy with a Queen sized bed **NEW SEALY MATTRESS 12.15.12 ***that feels like a cloud - it’s so good that you might have a hard time getting up for breakfast in one of the many adorable cafes in the area.
If needed , there is a queen inflatable bed with pump (Aerobed brand) which can be placed in the living room and it's great fun for a camp-out for the kids or extra space for adults.
The apartment is located on Buchanan between Lombard and Chestnut Streets, one of the cutest streets in SF and only 3 blocks from Union Street, which attracts people from all over the world. Plus it’s minutes away from the theatres downtown and the funky South of Market area. There are 2 movie cinemas within walking distance, as well as many fun and lively bars and restaurants.
The Marina is a very international and chic District. Many people love walking to the Golden Gate Bridge via Fort Mason, Crissy Field, and The Palace of Fine Arts.
INFO IS BELOW , THANK YOU.
I receive many inquiries asking me, 'What is the parking situation?'.
THERE IS NO PARKING SPACE INCLUDED.
This is always a common concern visiting any metropolitan city.. there is street parking and there are 3 garages within a very short walk from my home and are about $25 a day. Lombard St Garage and California Parking are close by. Pls Google for up to date parking rates for your trip.
There is no parking in the building, but none of my guests have mentioned that they had any problems parking on the street. (pls see reviews for more on this!)
Parking is on the street: Park in the street, never block any driveway, and do not park on the sidewalk (you will get a ticket). You’re obligated to find parking in the neighborhood on the public street. Parking permits are recommended for 1-2 week stays or longer. Follow the posted parking signs. You are eligible to purchase a temporary permit for your vehicle while you’re visiting the apartment, and you must display the parking permit sign in your car. Otherwise parking is limited to no more then 2 hours between 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. You must have an 'M' permit. You can go to SFMTA to get the permit; their office is located at 11 South Van Ness Avenue, the office will issue the permit.
This Marina is THE PLACE TO BE and I just know you will love my home. I could not be happier and would only live in this area. This is my primary residence and although I have moved out of state 2 times in the past 10 years, I never have given up this home.
Please check the calendar for availability PRIOR to emailing your request. Prices are always up to date and may change based on local events and holidays.
Thank you and we look forward to having you as our guests!

About Amirah Marie
Welcome to beautiful San Francisco! I have lived in the Bay Area for 25 years and am proud to call this city my home. I travel frequently for work and pleasure, but would never live anywhere else. I would be so pleased to have you in my home while you explore the culture and sights of Northern California!
Amirah Marie purchased this apartment in 2001
Why Amirah Marie chose Marina District
I have lived in the mid-west, Marin County, San Francisco, and the Southwest. My lifestyle includes theatre, ballet, symphony, art museums and gallery openings. I also enjoy the beaches, Fort Mason and Crissy Field. This location is just blocks from the Palace of Fine Arts and all of the wonderful outdoor activities I enjoy. The bus line is half a block from my front door. You are a short walk away from Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, and North Beach and can easily catch the bus to Chinatown and The GG Bridge - or just walk! Shopping is amazing in this neighborhood, as are the restaurants. This SF getaway condo has everything I could ever want!

Guestbook comments from the owner
Sandy and Jim from St Louis: we were referred to Christine's condo by another VRBO owner who was unable to accomodate us. We are not from Frisco and dont know the neighborhoods and never would have found this GEM if not for the VRBO community. we could not have been happier. new mattress, nice new sheets, freshly steam cleaned carpets - it felt so clean and so welcoming. we would definitely recommend staying here and Christine is very helpful!
