Luxury and location combined! This 2,700 square foot 3 bedroom, 3 bath penthouse condo on two levels is a true Hawaiian paradise. The Sands of Kahana is a luxury condominium resort located midway between the world famous resorts of Kaanapali and Kapalua. Kahana Beach is just below your bedroom- a lovely white sand beach located entirely within the Sands of Kahana. The sunsets from the lanai are legendary - a perfect excuse to stop and appreciate Hawaii's natural beauty at the end of the day. Every amenity is supplied - air conditioning, free high speed Internet and Wi-Fi, a computer and printer for guest use, a spa tub with ocean view in the master suite (all bedrooms have a bathroom ensuite), stereo system with iPod docking, flat screen HDTV in the living room and additional TVs and phones in each bedroom.New clock radios w/ iPod playing/charging docks are in each bedroom. Beach towels, music and video library and a closet full of beach items are there for your use.

It is a beautiful place, and amazingly very well stocked. The group thoroughly enjoyed the kitchen, making fun meals, which was only made possible due to the vast variety of kitchenware available. The bedrooms and bathrooms were vast, and the condo layout was spacious. And the location was amazing. Every night was a lesson in tranquility, in which the ocean sounds sounded through the night. The presence of rainbows off the lanai also made it one of the most picturesque views ever. The grounds were well maintained, and the variety of activities was incredible. It was a good distance from Lahaina, about 20 minutes north by car, and a short distance from Ka'anapili beach, which was possibly one of the most beautiful beaches ever.

Great view, beach and ambience - This is the best!

We were blown away by the huge size of this condo (three times the size of anything I've stayed in before!), the view (fabulous sunsets, great coastline and views of Molokai and Lanai) and the ambience (new furniture and electronics throughout, beautiful tropical decor). The condo was generously supplied, from the kitchen to a great selection of CDs, DVDs, books and beach supplies. The latter saved us a lot of money! The beach was white sand all the way, with great tidepools at one end and a popular surfing spot close by. It was nice having so many activities right there at The Sands - great casual restaurant, two pools, hot tub, BBQs, sand volleyball, putting green, tennis courts and basketball. Roy's of Kahana was just around the corner - Yum!
The owners were easy to work with and really know the island - they gave us a lot of really unusual ideas for things to do (the goat cheese farm and taking the BACK road to Hana were my favorites!).
Two thumbs WAY up - we'll definitely be back!
