We have owned this beautiful property for more than 20 years. Our family has enjoyed family gatherings and group events here for a long time, and we are happy to share the opportunity with other groups so that they can experience the beauty and serenity of The Lodge at Oak Creek Ranch.
The Owner purchased this lodge in 1986
We bought this property in the mid-80s. It was an old Campfire Girl’s camp that Campfire no longer needed. Jeff’s sister was a Campfire board member who introduced us to it. Early years were all vision and planning. We slowly began making improvements from 2000 to 2009. We have controlled every detail of the development and continue to work each time we are here to make it a little better.
It enriches our lives to share this place with people, hoping that they leave with just a little more positive spirit. It is a wonderful place to just connect with people and nature in a world where those simple acts are challenging.
The remote location and serene setting, along with the fact that rental groups have exclusive use of the entire property, make Oak Creek Ranch the perfect location for corporate retreats, family reunions and other intimate gatherings.
Our group LOVED Oak Creek Lodge and hopes to return in greater number some day! We cooked, we ate, we swam, we played bocce, we had a craft table in the dining room that was occupied with one or more of us most of the weekend. We hiked the property, had lunch on Sunday at the Pozo Saloon where we regrouped after 5 of us hiked the Rinconada Trail (woof!). I did a little watercolor sketch of the barn while sitting on a bench in a nice shady spot. You must be SO PROUD of the ranch.
This was a perfect venue for our management team meeting, and since we were a small group of 12 people, we had plenty of room to spread out and relax. We spent our first few hours having cocktails in the pool bar, followed by a team building cooking competition in the large open kitchen where everything we needed was readily available. We used the lodge living room and barn loft for meetings which provided a relaxing yet productive space for some creative thinking. The owner was easy and wonderful to work and our group loved the venue so much that they asked to return again next year!
We had a group of 30 stay here for the weekend. The accommodations were perfect. We loved the different areas to celebrate in. We took a sunset hayride, that was just beautiful. We had a wine tasting in the pool bar. We all fit in the dining room for dinner. The barn was perfect for our Barn Dance. We set up games by the pool during the day. The hiking trails were spectacular, especially the one to the view. The owner was a delight to work with as well as the people we met that worked for them. A wonderful experience all the way around, we highly recommend!
Remote, tranquil and full of amenities. What an amazing property! There's something for everyone. We were a group of old high school friends, all with our own kids now. It was so much fun watching all the kids play together in the oversized gathering areas. The living room is so spacious and allows for nice separation but still together. We had a great time cooking in the kitchen together and sitting down together. The pool was pretty cold the first day and we didn't do much swimming but after covering it that night we enjoyed the pool much more. I enjoyed an evening walk and morning run on the nearby trails, beautiful property. After the kids went to sleep we sat out on the deck and enjoyed some wine and memories together. Good times and more memories made.
Excellent facilities! Great secluded place for making lots of noise without disturbing any neighbors and yet there were enough bedrooms in different buildings that you could also have some peace and quiet. Beautiful setting. I can highly recommend the place. Out group had a terrific time.
This place was amazing. It was perfect for our family reunion of 38 people. The pool and bar was huge and perfect during the day. The barn with all the games was perfect for the night. The kitchen was large enough to handle all the people making their meals. The rooms were nice and spacious. I could not have been happier with the trip.
This place was ideal for our family to meet mid-state for a family reunion. There were 16 adults and 3 kids; some from Northern California and some from Southern California. The Lodge and Barn gave us more than enough bedrooms. The gathering rooms in the Lodge gave us room for talking and activities. The pool was a wonderful break from the 100 degree heat the first two days. We have fallen in love with this wonderful Ranch and want to return next year for another Family Reunion. Everything we needed was on site; all we had to bring was clothes, food and beverages. The staff are friendly and helpful.
