This is our view! This is not zoomed or edited in anyway! We have the best location in Papakea! You can enjoy the pool, ocean, island of Molokai, and grounds view. Two bedroom, two bathrooms all on one floor. This is not a loft unit. Sleeps 6 people. Newly refurbished Hawaiian style. Papakea is located on North Kaanapali beach. Papakea has over 13 acres of pools, spas, koi ponds, putting greens, shuffleboard, tennis courts and gas BBQs. The property is beachfront with over a mile of white sandy beach in front to walk all the way to Black Rock and Kaanapali. You can see your kids in the pool from the kitchen! The ocean is close up and personal. You can hear the waves from your bedroom! Please check our calendar for available dates - we keep it updated! Thank-you!

About our family:: We are a family of 5! We absolutely LOVE our time at Papakea. One of our greatest moments on Maui was when our oldest daughter, age 11, got her scuba certification on our beach last winter! We love to swim in the ocean, snorkel, dive, boogie board, fish and go boating. These are treasured family memories! We hope you choose Papakea K303 to create you own family memories! They are priceless! And the turtles, fish and rainbows are FREE!

Why We Purchased Papakea K303: Everyone who has visited Maui has a favorite spot. I lived on Maui in the historic harbor town of Lahaina right out of college for a year of fun in the sun. West Maui has always been my favorite because you have the beautiful West Maui mountians and the incredible Pacific ocean to view. West Maui is more lush than South Maui. So when we went looking for a condo, we toured most every property from Kapalua to Wailea and we just loved the low key feeling of Papakea. It has one of the largest number of acres for the fewest number of units on the island. NO lines to be found anywhere! It has a great Aloha feeling without the crowds and rush. This is how Hawaii is supposed to feel!

Unique Benefits of our location:: On North Kaanapali Beach you can enjoy walking the beach that goes forever.... one of the longest walking beaches in West Maui! From Papakea you can walk all the way to Black Rock and the resort area of Kaanapali. Stop at the Castaway Cafe for breakfast and keep on going. We play catch with the football all the down the beach and dive in the ocean when we get too hot.

Walk to the fun and funky coffee shop across the street or to the farmers market up a few blocks. Rent boogie boards at the local shop for 3 or 4 dollars a day. Go to the Fish Market for some fresh sushi and sashimi. You will feel more like a local then a tourist in our neighborhood.

Fantastic experience

We have stayed at the Papakea for 5 years in a row. Depending on how much family is able to go we have stayed in a 3 bedroon - 2-2 bedrooms and 3-1 bedrooms. Prior to this we have always had Oceanfront so we were leery of this location - however after staying in K303 we decided this view was even better than just ocean. We could see the pool & cabana the bar-b-ques along with a beautiful view of the Ocean. The pictures are accurate and a good reflections of the unit. You can hear the ocean while sitting on the balcony ~ ahhhhhh. The unit was fully stocked (especially the kitchen) more than most of the prior units we have stayed. Plenty of linens and comfortable beds (which was a plus). We had 2 couples and it seemed like we had plenty of room and privacy. I would definetely stay in K303 again. Wonderful vacation

My family had an amazing time at this beautiful condo! All the ammenities of home but the view of paradise. And the beds were SOOOO comfortable!!! That was a very pleasant surprise. There are lots of great places within walking distances…Bad Ass Coffee is a must; Mixed Plate has great food & very friendly service; Snorkel Bob was very helpful and close by if there were any issues with the gear; Java Jazz had great food, music & friendly service. Walk out to grass and walk left….the beach goes forever and is gorgeous!

If we had any complaint it would be that we didn’t know about any of the daily events that were occuring while we were there so be sure to ask the front desk when you check in for the daily activities. Also if you want to BBQ/cook fresh fish Safeway or the Fish Market is the place to get it.

Be sure to check out the closets for all the great extras in the home, great additives for our trip! Thank you again for letting us spend time in your home…we loved it!!!!

Wonderful Maui Location

This location is very convenient - walking distance to snorkeling beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, and a place with live music.
The unit is charming - nicely decorated and well maintained. The bedding and towels are new. The BBQs are very close to the unit.
The view from the patio is amazing.
It was a great place to stay and we will return.

Papakea K303 is wonderful!

We absolutely loved our time at Papakea K303. The unit was really comfortable, immaculately clean and super cute (Hawaiian charm is right!) and we were able to totally relax there. I loved sitting on the lanai and enjoying views of the palms, pool and ocean -- so lovely! The unit had everything we needed, and some great surprises like beach chairs, beach towels, coolers and boogie boards. Loved the location too -- easy walking distance to ABC Store, coffee shop, and nearby restaurants, and the paved beach walk path was just perfect for morning walks along the shore. We booked a snorkel cruise on the Hula Girl and had a spectacular time, drove to nearby Lahaina several times for meals and shopping, and had a great evening at Merriman's in Napili. Everything was easy, accessible and totally enjoyable. I would highly recommend Papakea K303 -- it's a gem!

Papakea K303

We booked this two bedroom condo for a family group of four people - my daughter and son-in-law, my wife, and me. We had very high expectations based on the information and photos in the promotional material. It looked like a great place. We've all had those places that look so great in the ad but when you got there, YUCK!!

Well, our expectations were met and exceeded. This place is better than the pictures show. The view is exactly as pictured but when you add in the sounds and smell of the ocean, it is very special. The unit itself was very clean and spacious. The four of us never felt crowded. The furnishings were very nice, the beds very comfortable. The counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms were upscale, real stone. The appliances were very nice - even a dishwasher and a washer and dryer right in the unit - unheard of. There was a large stash of beach "stuff" in the unit as well; chairs, mats, towels, noodles, etc.

Papakea is located just off the main highway around the island but far enough away that traffic noise is non-existent. Casual shopping is walking distance away. Snorkel rental, quaint "hole-in-the-wall" restaurants, farmers market, and ABC Store are all very close. Upscale shopping is a short drive. Old Lahaina has something for everyone and is just about a ten minute drive.

We were in Lahaina for the Fourth of July celebration. Prior to the fireworks, there was a small town atmosphere with a crowd gathering for an hour long concert by a local string band, ukeleles, guitars, keyboard, and singers. Following that, a community concert band, flutes, trumpets, tubas, the whole thing, played for another hour. As the fireworks began, a man with a very strong voice sang the National Anthem. It was very moving to see the whole crowd stand as one as he sang. The fireworks were out over the ocean and were beautiful. What a night!!

Memories of our stay at Papakea, K303, will be with us for a long time to come.

Papakea is located on North Kaanapali Beach. 5 minutes to Whalers Village and the Kaanapali Resort area with shopping, restaurants, and world class golfing. And only 10 minutes into historic Lahaina, with its quaint streets filled with shops, restaurants, art galleries and marina. Within walking distance of Papakea, is a large grocery store, dive shop, art gallery, farmers market, fish market, restaurants and local park. Our neighborhood is a mix of locals and tourists. Within a few days you will feel like a local and know all of the favorite 'spots.' 4 world class golf courses within 10 minutes drive.

Golf: We are within a 10 minute drive of 4 world class golf courses at either Kaanapali or Kapulua.

  • The master bed is a king size bed that was purchase September 08. New bedding, all new furniture and flat screen TV with DVD player. Private bath with full size tub. Vanity area is separate from tub/shower/toilet. Second bedroom also has new mattresses and bedding. The second bathroom is located in the hallway near the second bedroom and has a separate vanity area from the toilet and shower. The tub is 1/2 size built into the shower.
