The apartment has a great location!!! Two minutes walk from Ponte Vecchio, in Via Guicciardini, direction Pitti Palace, in the third gallery on the right, the location of the Machiavelli house.

It is a very quiet, inside apartment.

It is on the Oltrarno side of the river, with an excellent location for sightseeing and shopping.

It is few steps from Palazzo Pitti and Boboli garden, the largest park in Florence.

In the gallery is situated the most famous ceramic shop that is a showroom that introduces the art of Tuscany ceramics. Their ceramics, fruit of the job and the hands of the man on the earth, is rich of colors and shows the same fruits and plants that make this region so loved and admired. Between their typical products, they have oil bottles, cookies box, wine jugs and other ceramic items to use or for decoration.

About The Owner

I'm a landscape architect and this is the gallery with my ceramic shop under the apartment. After several year I make the design for these ceramic. They are representative of Tuscany tradition and I can show you all the secret of this ancient work.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment. Mery was the most accommodating host I've ever encountered. Thanks for making our stay stress-free! It's also a few minutes walk to my favorite pizza place - Gusta Pizza! I will definitely recommend this place to all of my friends.

Spacious apartment, very helpful renters, great location

We rented this sweet apartment for four nights for our family of five. The apartment is spacious, well-furnished, and close to everything. The renters are friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the hospitality and the spacious apartment - definitely the most room we've had for this price anywhere around Europe.

Our very happy ten day stay in Florence was much enhanced by the location of the apartment and by Mery and Salvatore's attentiveness. Everything was within easy walking distance, including the excellent restaurants they recommended. The apartment, while basic, was spacious and comfortable. We appreciated being able to prepare some of our own meals. In addition, the washing machine was a blessing. We strongly recommend Ponte Vecchio Apartment.

Excellent - comfortable and quiet with a great hostess

Lovely compact apartment in perfect location and walking distance to all parts of Florence. We were 7 people (including two 75+ year olds and a 5 year old) and we all found Mery's apartment comfortable, clean, quiet. There were 5 single beds and a double bed in 3 bedrooms with a full bathroom and 2nd toilet/washroom. There is a small elevator for luggage and those will limited mobility otherwise an an easy 2 flights of stairs. The location is just over the gold bridge (Ponte Vecchio) opposite Palazzo Pitti with many lovely restaurants close by as well as a supermarket. All bedroom windows have roll down wooden shutters that keeps the outside noise to a minimum, fully equiped kitchen and free wifi. Mery is a lovely hostess and an excellent source of information about Florence, what to see, where to eat and how to get around. Overall great value and would recommend to all.

This apartment is very roomy and so close to everything. The new supermarket is great. I made my own caprese salad which was just as good as those for 9 euros! We enjoyed the place so much when we found that we were able to extend a day we did. Mery is a wonderful host!
