A well-known designer of unique New York City lofts built Las Piedras as his own dream house. Every part of the house is built to take advantage of the fantastic views, and was designed and situated to best catch the ocean breezes. Then the house was surrounded with palm trees, so you feel as if you are being fanned from every angle.
The open plan of the upper floor flows from living room to dining area to kitchen with vaulted ceilings and incredible views. The dining area is surrounded by windows on three sides and is just off the fully equipped kitchen (complete with refrigerator/freezer and ice maker with a door dispenser, range, microwave, blender, coffeemaker, dishwasher and trash compacter). This spacious upper level has 9-foot tall glass doors across the entire length of the house, which leads out to a large waterfront deck. There is a large bathroom on this floor featuring a 4 person tub.
Downstairs is a comfortable den leading to a covered deck and the pool. There are two spacious bedrooms on this level. The Master Bedroom features a California king size platform bed and a master bath. The second bedroom has two queen-sized beds and air-conditioning. A one-of-a-kind bathroom built into the existing stone is across the hall. The crashing waves will literally lull you to sleep. On the ground floor is a private bedroom with its own full bathroom. Built around huge rocks, this bedroom is separate from the rest of the house. It features a queen-sized bed and an outdoor stairway leading upstairs to the pool and den. Please note, this bedroom is never rented separately.
