The environment is ideal for sports:
In Czerszegtomaj there are beautiful walks through the national park and an impressive observation tower. There are many riding centres in the area and we can easily arrange very reasonable terms for you. Lake Balaton is only 2 km away and has a large open-air swimming pool with water slide and children’s playground. Keszthely is a starting point for wonderful excursions and Budapest is only 180 km away. Lake Balaton is a real paradise for fishers – if you’re lucky you can even catch the legendary Balaton-pike-perch here! We are situated in a unique wine-growing area and in autumn you can sample the wines in the wine cellars of the region. There are also many wine festivals taking place at this time, and you can buy good wine at reasonable prices here. We’ll gladly give you some tips.
Shopping and restaurants:
On Sundays there is a large market in Czerszegtomaj, where you can buy all kinds of things. Nearby (2 km) in the town of Keszthely there are all kinds of shops and several large supermarkets, besides a daily vegetable and flower market, and twice a week a “large” market, which is well worth seeing. There are many restaurants everywhere throughout the area and those we especially recommend in Keszthely and Heviz are listed in the manual in the house.
Spa resorts:
Here you can enjoy a real wellness holiday. In Heviz, a thermal spa resort, you can bathe in natural thermal baths and follow it up with a wonderful massage. We can also arrange for our masseuse to come to the house if you wish. We can also give you good tips should you require cosmetic treatments, manicures or pedicures. They are offered throughout the region here at reasonable prices.
